The last thing Sid remembered was being enlisted to protect a vulnerable young woman in the coastal town of Sea Haven. Then, as if in some nightmare, he was lost in the swirling currents of the ocean, and sucked deeper into a freezing black eddy. Just as quickly, he was saved - pulled ashore by a beautiful stranger. Her name is Rikki, a sea-urchin diver in Sea Haven. Soon they will be bound by tantalizing secrets, which will engulf them both in a whirlpool of passion and danger.

Would you listen to Water Bound again? Why?

Love this story. I appreciate the differences of the female MC and the respect given to her by the male MC and her sisters.

What did you like best about this story?

Great romance - they do not fall in bed at first sight!

Have you listened to any of Angela Brazil’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Have not listened to her before.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes!

    Any additional comments?

It sounds a bit like it is being read from the bottom of a well. Do not like that which is why I gave the performance 4 stars.

Sweet, shy Mara Hanover is in love with her neighbor. For four years, she has secretly watched her dream man from afar. Handsome police detective Mitch Lawson is way out of her league. She's a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and there's no way a guy like Mitch would want anything to do with her. But when Mara has a leaky faucet that she can't fix, it's Mitch who comes to her rescue.

Jordy says: "Law Man is another Kristen Ashley winner!"
"How many times can she say "I mumbled" ?!?!?!?"

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Change the female protaganist's dialogue! Grrrr.
She keeps saying "I mumbled" 'and "Okay I whispered"

Would you ever listen to anything by Kristen Ashley again?

I have listened to some of her other books and they were NOWHERE near this annoying and repetitive.

What about Kate Russell’s performance did you like?

    Good. Enjoyed the voices.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    Performance was good.

    Any additional comments?

I really want to return this book! Not worth the money.

Skylar is used to the way people think of him as frightening, mean, and dangerous. Snakes are not the most popular shifters around and the fact he grew up wild doesn't help. He knows the way he's chosen to live alone in the woods only makes things worse, but he didn't think it meant people thought him capable of killing a couple of wolf puppies. Determined to find the real monster who left them to die, Skylar calls up the only wolf he knows, a man he always wished would see him as more than a snake…

    Riva says: "Cute little story"

Where does Backwoods Asylum rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story was lovely - short and sweet. It is going to be one of my favourite short stories.

What did you like best about this story?

Not a juicy romance, but a sweet and poignant one.

What about Paul Morey’s performance did you like?

The narrator did a beautiful job, and his accent just enhanced the whole tale.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I've listened to it twice in the last 24 hours.
