Spilled Blood was very good! My fav writer right now is Dean Koontz, but this book rated right up there.
I liked that it was located in Minnesota, right next to my state, and I could identify with the towns and scenery. What I didn't like was the narrator made some of the characters talk like the characters in the movie "Fargo" using the "oofta-like" lingo, or like "ya know". We don't really talk like that here. Very insulting.
All in all, a very good narrator.
No - I never listen to books twice.
Suspense and surprises
don't want to ruin the story
no - I like to know I have something to listen to on my next car trip
good book- recommend
Kept me interested all the way
suspense and even some romance
good narrator- he did the little girl really good!
whenever the room got cold, I "felt" the chill too
great book- recommend
Purchased this book, thinking it was a chiller, but it was an informative, documentary-type, self-help book. Never finished it.
Not a story
A better ending
No I have not listened to Becca Battoe before, but she was very good!
I just had to listen to Fifty Shades of Grey to see what all the excitement regarding this book was about! All those hours of listening . . . to be let down with a crappy ending. I would rather have listened to a great mystery.
When his ex-wife throws herself off the cliff
No - at first I didn't like his accent - very hard to hear the story - but I got used to it, and it actually added to the aura of the story
I enjoyed The Woodcutter immensely!
