As soon as Lily opens her recently purchased trunk of old clothes, she feels strange vibrations emanating from a mysterious velvet cloak. When she tries it on, Lily sees awful visions from the past. And when the antiques dealer who sold her the cape is killed, Lily suspects a supernatural force might be behind his death. Then Lily's familiar, Oscar the potbellied pig, disappears. Lily will do anything to get him back - including battling the spirit of a powerful witch reaching out from the past.

I adore this series, a witchy cozy mystery. It is a very enchanting with plenty of great charters to charm and entertain.

I love Sailor and Lily together, I wish we could get more of their dynamic. Again great supporting characters. The mystery this time was a touch darker. I was on the verge of solving it, Ms Blackwell throws curve balls into the mix.

I expect things will soon come to a head with Aiden. Definitely curious about all the loose threads at the end of this one. The major plot is resolved but there are plenty of things to carry on into a few more books.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Xe Sands, who is always great! She has a terrific pace that keeps the story moving along nicely. Great voices that stay consistent throughout the book and the series. She has a wonderful way of adding energy to the read and bringing actions scenes to life. One of my favorite narrators.

I love this series and am more than ready to see what happens next for everybody.

Last book in the series, or shall I say serial. It is the last chapters of the story. It picks up with the aftermath of "Twitter-gate". Welcome to the angst.

Mostly I have loved this story, this takes a turn to the drama-rama. I always like how strong and secure, well mostly secure, Shannon has been. She becomes mopey dumped girl. Ugh!!! She still has the same fun attitude, but the woo is me, I don't have a Billionaire boyfriend anymore, gets old fast. Even with that, I still adored the story. It is just so engaging!

I still love the supporting cast to pieces!! They are quirky and awesome and too fun for words!! I was also giggling like a loon through the hotel secret shop! Funny beyond words!!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Tanya Eby, who is delightful! She has the perfect tone for the vibe of this book. I love the way she adds energy and sass to the characters. She keeps the story moving right along with her swift pace. The men's voice are just masculine enough, without seeming like a caricature. Definitely a narrator I will be looking for more of in the future! She gives good voice!!!

Very chick-lit kind of ending for the book. I really hope we get stories for the other yummy brothers!! Please let them and her sister, and her BFF all get HEA!! Possibly with each other!!

This was a really awesome short read. It is connected to a series that is set in a post Apocalypse zombie filled world. I do not think I would be interested in that series, but this short story is fantastic. It is so compelling and heartbreaking.

The way the story unfolds, you get little by little of the end game for the story. It is all in first person narrative, like the narrator was talking to someone. It would be an interesting monologue if anyone were interested in performing it.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Andrea Emmes, who is terrific. She has a great tone with a hint of sass. Her pace is very conversational , which fits the words perfectly. The whole read is well done and flows beautifully. The end was a bit rocky for me, the emotion felt forced and a bit too dramatic. It will be interesting to see how this narrator handles a longer read.

    Story

Wow, I was not sure what to expect from this book. It turned out to be a delightful journey. I was drawn in from the very start, such an engaging story.Great characters and storytelling.

Terra is a totally fabulous chick. Which is great, because the whole book is from her POV. She has a great sassy attitude most of the time. There are a few times when she goes all girlie, but they are few and far between. I love her strength.

The romance is more of a side plot. The issue with Terra's inability to shift to her wolf. And all the hubbub with her father and nephew. This was really interesting and had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. The ending was a bit anti-climactic. I guess I thought there would be some big face off battle. Totally clean, only a few kisses, nothing smexy.

I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Kelly Mccall Fumo, who is great. I loved her pace and the energy she adds to the read. Her tone fits the lead perfectly and making her come to life in all the best ways. The other voices are consistent and distinct throughout the story. I would adore listening to more of her reads. She moved the story along with her dynamic read.

Overall, I was intrigued by this story and enthralled the whole time. I just wish the end had more drama, it just sort of fizzled. The epilogue leaves things open to more of the series. Very curious to see what comes next!

    Story

This book is the first in a series, and I am so very hooked already!!!! Yes, Yes, Yes to the alien hotness!!! Great story and plenty of meat on it for future books in the series!

I love the feisty sisters, they are not sitting around waiting to be saved! Hell yes, they will go out and save there man if they have to, you go girl! While this is mostly the eldest sister, Jesse's romance, you have plenty of clues about what is in store for the other girls, when they grow up.

Hunter is super yummy and really sweet for such a big lug! And his two friends Saber and Dagger are pretty darn hot too! Oh yeah, this is going to be an awesome series!

The story is terrific starting out on Earth then moving off to Space. The Sci-fi elements are just enough too keep things interesting, without going all technical. The world building was great to a point, there could probably be more about the Alliance. It was mostly glazed over. I need more detail about how all of that works. Why is this Council in charge of everything? I expect the next book will bring much of what I am looking for in the details.

The narrative is mixed, so you get both leads POV, alternating through the book. I love this style, because it engages you more in the romance. I also like the little rewinds that happen at the switch, you get a little of the same story from the other side of the conversation. It really shows clear distinctions between their thought processes. Venus and Mars, and all that jazz.

The book is a bit smexy. Yup, open bedroom door, with some hot details!! Look out for all that combustible chemistry!!! It is more mainstream detail, than full on erotic. Still it will seriously warm you up!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by David Brenin, who is yummilicious!!! He has this smexy deep rumble to his voice that really works for the sexy aliens. Beware, the steam scenes are a little too hot for public listening, seriously, you will be in the grocery store in need of a cold shower! The man brings all sorts of extra levels to the smexy words!! Fan Face!!! He has a great pace that helps move the action along. I also like that he does not try to go too high with the ladies. He keeps them feminine without the nasal whiny qualities others employ. Definitely on my fav guy list!!

Overall, I really enjoyed the book, even though the middle and end lagged a bit. It became a little repetitive in the plot. There was a whole lot of tell but not enough show in the action on the other planets. I like to be there when stuff goes down, not hear about it after. Even with those complaints, I am totally hooked! I need the next book in audio, like NOW!!! Seriously, do not make me wait, I will stalk David if I have to!

    Story

I really dig this series. It is great seeing all the brothers find love, pretty much at the same time!! This book is a reunited lovers trope, love that!!!! We get a flashback to college days and just meeting. Mix in a little of them together, and wham the big break up! Fast forward to the present again.

I adore sassy Kiera, she totally stands up for herself. There are many times I wanted to smack clueless Axel in the head. Hello, she is not a wimp, she can handle business!! Once he started having faith in her abilities, he won me over.

Little bit of yummy smexy time. Open bedroom door but not full erotic detail. Plenty of steam though to warm a reader up! For a short read you do get a few helpings of scrumptious smexing!

The narrative is mixed, and good thing for that, cause without hearing Axel's thought process you might think he is a chauvinistic jerk. No, he is just a touch clueless and self absorbed. Kiera will break him of that! Again, we have a few stray POV from the supporting cast, a little less jumpy, but it takes you out of the moment.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Viv Williams, who is a delight! I love her energy and the sassy tone she gives Kiera. Her pace is swift and steady, love that! All the voices stayed consistent and distinct. She does a fabulous job of keeping it clear who is in charge of the narrative. This is something she excels at! Terrific read all around!

I am ready to see what happens in the next book!! Will it be Riker and Cricket or Xander and Autumn. I hope they release in audio soon!!!

    Story

This book is one of my favorites in the whole series. Beth and Master Nolan are both a little broken, it is beautiful seeing them heal each other. This is one of those stories that really touches you. There is so much emotion wrapped into the read.

The narrative is mixed, alternating between the two leads POV. It is wonderful getting insight into both their thoughts. They have had to overcome so much, each has a core of inner strength. Nolan is such a gentle giant, I can not resist his type.

The story flows nicely and is a delight to read again. It just remind me how much I love these two. The connection they share is palpable.

The smexy scenes are delicious!! Some yummy club scenes, it is really interesting to peak into that world. The bedroom scenes are uber hot too! I need a cold shower after re-reading all this smexiness!!!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Noah Michael Levine. who is delicious!!! Oh yeah, he has a yummy gruff tone, with a smexy rumble. Dear Lord, do not listen while in public! You will be blushing from head to toe! TG, no more sound effects!!! He has a great pace that really compliments the story.

I can not wait for the rest of the series to come out in audio!!! I can not wait for yummy Master Cullen and Master Marcus. Two of my favorite Doms!!!!

    Story

Love this second book in the series, it is still very educational. This tends to happen when there are newbies involved. It doesn't detract from the story, it is just an observation upon reading the series a second time around.

Kari is as spunky and fun as the first heroine in the series. She is a perfect match for Master Dan, who is oh so serious. Plus a Cop and a teacher is a perfect pairing. Love it!!

Super yummy smexy scenes!!! Oh yesh!!! Plenty of steam and playtime in the club. I am not sure I would be into all of that, especially the picnic games. To each their own, and this is about exploring that sexuality. Definitely a hawt read.

This is a mixed narrative, you get both leads POV alternating throughout the read. This is big for really understanding the whole mindset of the relationship. It is also important because if you only had her POV, you might think Dan is a big dumb jerk.

The overall romance is quick but I can deal with that in the smexy books. Sometimes lust and chemistry take over first, I know the true feelings come later.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Noah Michael Levine. who is yummilicious!! I love the deep rumble in his voice. It does all sorts of things to my girly parts when he reads the naughty bits!! He has that Dom voice down, seriously hot! He has a great pace through the read and makes the women feminine without going too far. Definitely on my hit list!

I am loving reading this series a second time in audio, it is a refreshing visit with old friends!

I read this book a few years ago, it was one of my first introductions to the BDSM genre. Fabulous read then and again now.

I love feisty Jessica, it was great to visit with her again. Seeing her first interactions with Master Z, her wonder at experiencing the club for the first time and the heady feeling of falling in love. At the time, it did not feel like BDSM 101, because it was my first time experiencing it as well. Now it has a very educational feel but a great story to back it up.

Characters introduced in this book are leads throughout the rest of the series. So wonderful meeting them again! This is a fabulous series and still one of my favorites.

The Master Z empathy angle is a little odd. Everything else in the series is so normal, that this sticks out as different and not really needed. Still, it is interesting to have him so in tune with everything that happens in his club.

I love the mixed narrative, getting both Jess and Z's POV is important to understanding their whole dynamic. It also makes the romance more engaging. I am not sure I would be into the lifestyle, but I certainly enjoy reading about it. This series puts you into the mindset of the people who live this kind of life and helps you understand them better.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Noah Michael Levine, who is scrumptious! His tone is just as yummy as the words coming out of his mouth. He does make Jessica a touch too breathy at times and I am never a fan of sound effects. Hearing actual spanking was a touch off putting. He has a terrific pace and energy that he brings to the read. I definitely hope to hear more of this yummy voice!

Overall, I was thrilled to come back to the beginning of a series I have loved for a few years. I hope they will all be released in audio! This way I can finally catch up on the latest book!

Such a fun quick read. I will say that there is the whole sped up relationship. Feelings happen within days and I guess I can overlook that. It is one of those things you have to ignore in a romance.

Love Mia, she is so sweet and delightful. She is a great match for an arrogant guy like Ash. They are a compliment to each other her sensitivity and innocence balance out his control and seriousness. I love them together, especially when they banter!

The narrative is mixed, mostly the two leads POV, but some supporting cast as well. The supporting cast is sure to be heard from again in their own stories. I like the mix and all the insight the reader garners in this style. The downside is when it gets jumpy. Some of the sections are very short and it gets dizzy following who has taken the lead. Maybe it is clearer in writing?

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Viv Williams, who is fabulous. She has a wonderful tone and brings life to the read. He energy throughout is a real compliment to the storytelling. Love the quick pace of this read, it feeds into the action of the story. I will definitely be looking for more of her reads!

The book does have one smexy scene, which is a open bedroom door. It does not have as much detail as an erotic novel, but it does have some sweet steam! Yummy!! There is delicious chemistry from the very start.

Wow!! What a brilliant idea for a book. I love the short stories interconnect to weave the bigger picture. The way the whole book flows is wonderfully engaging. I never wanted it to end.

I do not wish to give away too many details, because you really have to experience this book. It is a well crafted Dystopian society that is brilliant and terrifying at the same time. I was hooked on the first story and then blow away by one line at the end of the second. It just gets better from there.

It is much scarier than I expected. There are some seriously horrific topics covered. It was scary in a very real way. Each new story adds another level to the dark read. You would think through such short stories that a world could not be created with detail. Amazingly, that is not how it goes down. There is such a wealth of detail created through the connections.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Dave Thompson, who is terrific. He had quite a job of voicing all these stories. He keeps things distinct and brings fresh life to each new story. His energy and pace enhance the read. I really enjoyed his tone and would love to hear more of his work.

I noticed there is more to this book, perhaps even a series. I really hope it all comes out in audio. And i hope it has the same narrator and feel!
