While not my favorite story, I know The Map of the Sky is among the most memorable. The Map of Time was a light-hearted frolic compared to this dark story. Felix J. Palma weaves a horrifying "What if" tale, and James Langton's narration is spot on.
Jame's Langton's voice never distracts from the character whose words he is reciting.
The Map of the Sky left me feeling as though I need another "The Map of'" book.
the author's recurring themes of heroism, unconditional love and redemption are in full force. Suzanne Toren's narration is fluid, allowing for easy transition between characters, frequently before the conversing characters are named. Happily, several plot lines need to be resolved, giving me hope that there will be a book 9? Soon? Please?
This is an absolutely terrifying book, and yet I looked for opportunities to pick it back up.
