When eight-year-old Kirstie brings home a strange egg from the Scottish shore, her family never expects it to hatch. But the next day, Kirstie discovers a baby sea monster swimming in her bathtub! Part horse, part toad, part turtle and part crocodile, he's the oddest-looking creature Kirstie's family has ever seen. Only Kirstie's grandfather knows what the beastie really is: a Water Horse! This lovable creature is the perfect pet. The only trouble is, he can't stop growing.

The Narrator is excellant. My children enjoyed listening to this story. We listened to the whole book in 1 day as it really held their interest and they are 5 and 8 years old.

You have a fulfilling job, a great group of friends, the perfect apartment, and no shortage of dates. So what if you haven’t found The One just yet? Surely he’ll come along, right? But what if he doesn’t? Or even worse, what if he already has, but you just didn’t realize it? Lori Gottlieb said the unthinkable in her March 2008 article in The Atlantic: Maybe she, and single women everywhere, needed to stop chasing Prince Charming and instead go for Mr. Good Enough.

I have listened to this book at least three times and I know I will continue to listen to it. It is great encouragement and Joel delivers the message wonderfully. No matter your lot in life there isn't anyone that couldn't enjoy or deserve a little encouragement and this is a great place to get it.

Unless you are a slug, a sea anemone, or mildew, you probably prefer not to be damp. You might also prefer not to listen to this audiobook, in which the Baudelaire siblings descend into the depths of despair, underwater. The horrors they encounter are too numerous to list, and include mushrooms, a mechanical monster, a distressing message from a lost friend, and tap dancing.

    "the series keeps getting better"
    Overall

My kids and I listen to 6 to 10 hours of audio books per week and we just loved this one. The suspense combined with the descriptions he uses to explain the larger vocabulary word keep your attention and expand your brain at the same time.
