Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Most of my friends are into the same things I am and this is Buffy the Vampire slayer to the tenth power. Its a classic 80's unlikely hero who has the power but has no idea how to use it. I love the concept and the introductions of all the monsters

Who was your favorite character and why?

G-gnome, he was straight up gangster LOL. A true Scarface in every sense

    Which scene was your favorite?

When G-gnome and Z was fighting, well hell the whole Gnome encounter was off the hook had me rolling. And when you are walking around with headphones on and randomly start laughing people start to wonder.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh for the most part, it was the one lines and the character development that was great. Agent Frank's dry humor is just great. And gain can't for get about the Gnomes

    Any additional comments?

A must read if you want something different

If you could sum up Ruler of Naught in three words, what would they be?

    A must Read

Who was your favorite character and why?

As the series went on I grew to really enjoy all of them. But to say one it would have to be Brandon Nyr-Arkad as you find out how slick he really is.

Have you listened to any of James Patrick Cronin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was about the same as the last but the book was much better.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Wow this is a hard one as it was so much that you couldn't stuff it into one movie

    Any additional comments?

I almost pass this up as the first book was ok (nothing special) and reminded me of not star wars as the comments stated but of a cheap version of Dune. But it did grab my attention and this book was the beeknees. Great character building and the space battles was great. Action and intrigue was there from the start can't wait till they release the next books on audio. i might even have to pick them up on paper back if it takes to long

Only a handful of people in the world know that mankind's magic comes from a living creature, and it is a refugee from another universe. The Power showed up here in the 1850s because it was running from something. Now it is 1933, and the Power's hiding place has been discovered by a killer. It is a predator that eats magic and leaves destroyed worlds in its wake. Earth is next. Former private eye Jake Sullivan knows the score. The problem is, hardly anyone believes him.

What made the experience of listening to Warbound the most enjoyable?

    The characters was so enjoyable

What did you like best about this story?

I like the spin on the world as a whole and the concept of powers (magic) Kind of made me think of the Xmen

Would you listen to another book narrated by Bronson Pinchot?

Not really I did not enjoy his narration

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The life changing position that all the characters were put through and the best part was the ending... WOW

    Any additional comments?

A must read but the narrator was not good at all. If you can get past that you will enjoy this book

At the end of Shadow of the Giant, Bean flees to the stars with three of his children--the three who share the engineered genes that gave him both hyper-intelligence and a short, cruel physical life. The time dilation granted by the speed of their travel gives Earth’s scientists generations to seek a cure, to no avail. In time, they are forgotten - a fading ansible signal speaking of events lost to Earth’s history. But the Delphikis are about to make a discovery that will let them save themselves, and perhaps all of humanity in days to come.

Would you listen to Shadows in Flight again? Why?

No, it was good the first time and brought me back to the character I really like reading about. But it was to short and it seemed like it did not have the same passion the other Shadow series had.

Would you be willing to try another book from Orson Scott Card? Why or why not?

I read Ender's Game but did not continue the Ender's series. I instead read all of the Shadows series. I fell in love with the series and read it religiously. But I heard mix reviews of his other works and could see my self buying any of his other works.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like how it goes into the different perspective and it was well done. It keep to the other books in the Series

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really, It had a few lull parts and being a short book and having lulls is not good.

    Any additional comments?

Pick it up if you read the Shadow Series

Who was your favorite character and why?

They all are great characters but Z is the best. I think of Ash from the Evil dead series especially Army of Darkness.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Wow this is a hard one, but i would have to say it would have to be the beating Z got from Agent Franks

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was hard to put down. I usually savior it but I could not put it down.
