As a fiscal conservative, social liberal who lives in a political no-man's land, Demonic made me think about order vs. chaos in a country that is moving from entrepreneurs to employees and from employees to complete human obsolescence.
Almost anything but "demonic." She goes off the deep end in places, but pared down to her observations, and the premise, perhaps, "Political Disorder."
I'd love to find a politically neutral book that examines the mechanisms she addresses.
This book provides a basic understanding of what technology is and where it's going. In terms of impact on my thinking, it rates in the top dozen books I've read and my personal business library exceeds 800 books at this point. If you are a thinking person who wonders where humanity is going in the short term as well as the long term, I think you'll enjoy this book.
