The characters were very well developed, expecially the mother who was a strong independant woman who showed the care expected of a mother, and a father who was going to protect his daughter no matter what. I loved the romance mixed in with the mystery; romantic moments mixed in without overshadowing the real story.
Everyone should be taught how to use the technique introduced in this book. It's amazing how we develop self-defeating thoughts but it's just as amazing when you learn how to rid yourself of those behaviors by the thoughts you think. We all can choose to think differently and more importantly feel different about ourselves. And it all starts with the simple question of "is this thought absolutely, 100% true?". If not, I can choose to think (and act) otherwise. Excuses...Begone!
