Enter the unique world of Terry Goodkind. A world of high adventure, brilliant storytelling, and people you will never forget. A sweeping new novel of Richard Rahl, Kahlan Amnell, and their world.

    "Great Book!"
What made the experience of listening to Severed Souls the most enjoyable?

To me, the pace never slowed down. I enjoy his books but a lot of them get real repetitive and drug out at times. I never felt that in this book for a second! This book went by so fast I couldn't believe I was at the end already! And...that

What about Sam Tsoutsouvas’s performance did you like?

I thought he did a great job. Still not my favorite reader, Gerard Doyle is still the best, but he is good nonetheless.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes! Sadly I couldn't though

    Any additional comments?

This was a great book from start to finish. It kept me hooked and interested the entire time

  • The Omen Machine: A Richard and Kahlan Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (15 hrs)
    • By Terry Goodkind
    • Narrated By Sam Tsoutsouvas
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

An accident leads to the discovery of a mysterious machine that has rested hidden deep underground for countless millennia. The machine awakens to begin issuing a series of increasingly alarming, if minor, omens. The omens turn out to be astonishingly accurate, and ever more ominous. As Zedd tries to figure out how to destroy the sinister device, the machine issues a cataclysmic omen involving Richard and Kahlan, foretelling an impending event beyond anyone’s ability to stop. As catastrophe approaches, the machine then reveals that it is within its power to withdraw the omen....

    "Great Listen! Great Story!"

I am a fan of the Sword of Truth series, tho towards they end they do get a little preachy..and yes they are dragged out, but this one is amazing! Filled with the same characters we all love from SoT and it does with out the long drawn out story and the preaching. The story itself is really good and for the most part it is fast paced, tho there is a couple parts where it seemed a little slow but not enought to hurt the rating any. The writing seems to be all around better and the reader still does a great job... EXCEPT he miss-pronounces Kara's name. He says ( care-uh) not (car-uh). it irritated me at first and i cringed thru most of the book but overall i really enjoyed this newest title from Terry. I hope there will be some more books on Richard and Kahlan soon!

  • The Pillars of Creation: Sword of Truth, Book 7

    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Tormented her entire life by inhuman voices, Jennsen seeks to end her intolerable agony. She at last discovers a way to silence the voices. For everyone else, the torment is about to begin. Richard Rahl and his wife, Kahlan, have been reunited after their long separation, but with winter descending and the paralyzing dread of an army of annihilation occupying their homeland, they must venture deep into a strange and desolate land.

"Don't pay attention to the bad reviews"

First off, this is a very good book if you know BEFORE HAND that it is not about Richard and Kahlan. It is about 2 other characters who tie into the story later on. The book timeline is nearly parallel to the previous book. The book had me intrigued a good chunk of the time, tho some of it is repetitive and drawn out... but.. unfortunately that is his writing style Especially when people talk and in the same paragraph they can say the same thing 10 times but different ways of putting it. The last part that this book is divided into is when the book begins to really shine. I didnt want to stop listening to it. If you have enjoyed the books up to this point you will want to get this one JUST KNOW that the main characters dont make appearances till towards the end of the book.

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 25 mins)
    • By Sean Williams
    • Narrated By Jonathan Davis
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.

    "Great Book!!!"

I am a huge fan of the Force Unleashed storyline. I love the story of Starkiller and his relationship with the different characters in the two book / games. It is very easy to get attached to the characters and you can't stop reading because you want to find out what happens in the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Of course you will need to read the first book first which is also great. It sucks tho that there isn't an unabridged version of the first one there is only abridged. Last thoughts... I can't wait till the game comes out and I hope to see more books revolved around these characters. Buy the book or download this now!!

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 48 mins)
    • By Sean Williams
    • Narrated By Marc Thompson

Tassaa Bareesh, a matriarch in the Hutt crime cartel, is holding an auction that’s drawing attention from across the galaxy. Representatives of both the Republic and the Sith Empire are present, along with a Jedi Padawan sent to investigate, a disenfranchised trooper drummed out of the Republic’s elite Blackstar Squad, and a mysterious Mandalorian with a private agenda.

    Karen says: "Unexpected and Enjoyable"
    "Awesome book!!"

I actually own the hard back and it was so good i decided to get the audio version as well. The story starts off a little slow.. of course it has to introduce characters and what not. but when it picks up.. it just keeps going. I love the relationship between the Darth Chratis and Ax as well as the Jedi master and her apprentice. All the main characters in this book are great. They each have their own personality and I love how they relate to each other. Definitely a good read / listen. I can't wait for Sean's next book The Force Unleashed 2 to come out. Last note, If you are a Star Wars fan then you should definitely get this book. If you're not a fan...well I think you should pick it up and give it a shot anyways.
