Challenging, inspiring, and so informative. Ross Douthat seemed really balanced and tried to give you the information and the results so you could make decisions.
This guy is a genius and I love his heart for people. I especially enjoyed the stories about the relationship with his father and all of the ups and downs they experienced.
At times you would almost think this was a movie or such and forget that it was actual history that took place. I learned so much about the events of surrounding this ship and the people that fought in World War II.
It sounded like it was recorded in a bathroom, but the story kept me listening.
John Ortberg is such a great author and I have enjoyed his books so much. This caught me off guard in a good way. I was not only inspired, but learned so much.
Loved every minute of what I was learning and how I was being moved, but it was a lot to take in just listening. Its definitely something I would rather read.
I was totally sucked in. Listened to most of it driving from PA to NY. It was practical and yet I found myself moved to worship.
