When NYPD Red arrives at a crime scene, everyone takes notice. Known as the protectors of the rich, famous, and connected, NYPD Red is the elite task force called in only for New York City's most high-profile crimes. And Detective Zach Jordan is the best of the best, a brilliant and relentless pursuer of justice. He puts professionalism above all, ignoring his feelings for his partner, Detective Kylie MacDonald, the woman who broke his heart when they first met in the academy.

Would you listen to NYPD Red 2 again? Why?

Yes I would because it is a fast paced story with characters that are so wonderfully written you want to know what is next for them.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, I loked forward to getting in my car each day to see what was going to happen next.

What about Edoardo Ballerini and Jay Snyder ’s performance did you like?

Their ability to capture the nuances of each character's personalities. Love hearing them tell this great story.

    Any additional comments?

Loved the first one and equally the second one. I look forward to future NYPD Red novels!

After losing his leg to a land mine in Afghanistan, Cormoran Strike is barely scraping by as a private investigator. Then John Bristow walks through his door with an amazing story: his sister, the legendary supermodel Lula Landry, famously fell to her death a few months earlier. The police ruled it a suicide, but John refuses to believe that. The case plunges Strike into the world of multimillionaire beauties, rock-star boyfriends, and desperate designers, and it introduces him to every variety of pleasure, enticement, seduction, and delusion known to man.

If you could sum up The Cuckoo's Calling in three words, what would they be?

    Intriguing detective novel.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting thing was the internal challenges faced by protagonist Comoran Stryke. The least interesting was the elongated conversations/interviews he would have with suspects or witnesses.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The final confrontation between Comoran and the murderer.

    Any additional comments?

A solid read that isn't a waste of time, but certainly not the best detective novel I have ever read. The characters have great potential for future stories and novels! I will pick up the sequel.
