This is an in depth book about men from across the country drawn together in time by forces beyond their control. The similarities between the beginning of World War II and present day are uncanny. Both groups went to war with what you had. This is a story of brave men who went up against odds far against them. This is a great listen!
Better narration, a better story, staying within topic of the story. Keeping with the main character as the villain instead of the incessant whining
kept on topic
Most anyone else
Delve more into the earlier days which brought attention to the character.
no way. she is just plain miserable
yes her voice was pleasent enough
nothing to say
The story was well written
very much so
Yes and he does a great job
none to offer
I would from Timothy Burke. The story was good and out together in a good order
Picked anyone else who has narrated something besides a text book before. His inflections to differant people was horrid!
The most disappointing is MacKenzie's lies and falsehoods. I guess that is what you get from a convicted rapeist
He did a very good job with the narration
the lies told about his jail time, the lies that he was not a rat, when he was.
the narrator was very good to a pretty poor story.
The narration was very good.
If Patricia Cornwell had tried to finish the book. The ending was horrible, it was as if she was bored and just decided okay, enough I am done, end the book now.
probably not. she has been showing little effort in the past two books
yes I would
it helped with the drive home from work
Patricia Cornwell please try next time!
Read the book, this is almost impossible to listen to. The narrator has ruined this book. His pronunciations are horrible, and inaccurate. He reads like a fifth grader. I would be embarrassed to have read a book professionally like this.
W.E.B. Griffin is such an accomplished writer, it is sad to hear his book read like this.
This is one of the books that would be very interesting to read or if someone else would have narrated the book. The author has a very dry and monotone voice. This makes it difficult to listen to and to pay attention to. In comparison to other books about the CIA this is more about the author grandstanding and his memory as he remembers it. Too bad it is interesting information about a specific period of time.
