Yes I would recommend this book to a friend.
It ws a true story about true heroes.
The book was read perfectly.
True American Heroes
Living in the DC area on 9/11/2001, and knowing someone in the Pentagon that was killed, I found this book fascinating. Regardless of what the actual details are of how the mission took place, it needed to be done. It made me proud to be an American to think about those Navy Seals training and executing the mission to perfection.
The book would have been better if the author did not try to duplicate a Harry Potter experience
The ending was very weak. The story got ridiculous.
All of them
Maybe it was my mistake, but this book is not for adults. It follows the same themes as Twilight and Harry Potter. The book cover and the summary are deceiving. Leading you to believe it is a more intelligent story.
Creative and origanal story
The way novel followed the life of the main character from boyhood to manhood.
If I had the time I would definately have loved to finish this book in one sitting.
Anybody that likes typical and predictable crime novels
The narration sounded like something out of a 1930's crime movie. "You dirty rat, you killed my brother".
Glad it's fiction
The narrator was excellent. The story was creative and told in a very unique way.
A Dan Brown super fan
It follows the same formula as all his other books.
I have no idea
Disappointment. I was hoping for something more creative.
Please Dan Brown, stop writing the same books with different story lines. I could not even finish the book. This will probably be my last Dan Brown book
It is far from the best I have listened to, but is is far from the worst. It would easily be in my top 15.
The story was very original. There were many twists in the book that I did not see coming.
I was amazed at what the characters could get away with. Scary to think about. I would hate to be so trapped in my life.
Best part: The beginning.
Worst part: The ending
Listen to shorter books
There were way to many details. This book could have easlily been 15 or 20 hours shorter.
Some parts, mostly later in the book, were just redicules.
Way up there. Very well done.
His acting experience and ability to have many different voices made the book come to life.
What else can I say. It's a classic.
Nothing stands out in my mind to say what I liked best. The book was just another psycho killer story just like what is on TV every week. Nothing special or gripping.
Wait for the new season of Criminal Minds this fall.
I just wish there was a little more creativity in the story. It's almost like some of these books are fast food. It tastes pretty good while you are eating it, but after you are done you wonder why you ate it. Nothing special.
