Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Unabridged. Marc Thompson. - Seriously all you need. I think we are at the point where it is safe to say that Lucas Arts needs to get this guy to read all the EU books.

What did you like best about this story?

I read the book when it came out. What I like best at this point is getting to hear it read by Marc Thompson. The production value is top notch.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The scene with Leia on Kashyyk when the Nogri recognizes her scent as a Skywalker.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Heir to the Empire.

Its a perfect tag line because it has two possibilities. Is Leia the heir or is Thrawn?

Han Solo should be basking in his moment of glory. After all, the cocky smuggler and captain of the Millennium Falcon just played a key role in the daring raid that destroyed the Death Star and landed the first serious blow to the Empire in its war against the Rebel Alliance. But after losing the reward his heroics earned him, Han's got nothing to celebrate. Especially since he's deep in debt to the ruthless crime lord Jabba the Hutt. There's a bounty on Han's head - and if he can't cough up the credits, he'll surely pay with his hide. The only thing that can save him is a king's ransom. Or maybe a gangster's fortune?

Would you consider the audio edition of Scoundrels: Star Wars to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print. I am all about the audio performances now. I find that the unabridged audio versions narrated by Marc Thompson are amazing. Second only to the original trilogy.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The end.

    Any additional comments?

Best EU ending I can think of.

As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

People interested in a Star Wars story that resides outside the canon.

Has Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, in fact, since I have read part one and listened to part two, I would like to see how they wrap this up. Part of the allure of listening to this book was that it is unabridged.

What three words best describe Jonathan Davis’s voice?

    Enjoyable, appropriate, easy

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Star Wars. Some nice cameos and possibilities have been established, but the main characters are not legends in the Star Wars canon and it is kind of hard to create a legend with a prequel, especially when it is based on a video game series that is mediocre.
