I love audio books and the narrator of this book is incredible. It puts much more life into the story.
Whenever James Patterson's books come out I almost immediately read them -- then when I've read them I have trouble finding others to fill the void. I have read almost everything single book he has written and am still catching up with some older ones.
Yes, and after listening to these books I often times search on the narrator to determine what book I will listen too next. I get a sort of comfort from the storyteller.
Yes it was. I looked for times to sneak away and listen.
Yes, this book provided so much insight into the times and the lives of the young girls in Paris as well as their plight.
The changing from perspective of story. From sister to sister.
No, she was truly wonderful.
Yes, I would try another book. I just don't think this was my type of story. I was driving to Ohio the weekend before Christmas and looking for stories to listen to on my 7 hour drive. This was not one that I enjoyed at all -- just was a drag -- I knew it was sort of "anti christmas" the celebratory kind -- but I couldn't wait for it to be over. I didn't stop listening just because I had nothing better to do during my drive.
No, not at all.
He had a nice voice -- I would like to hear stories by him again.
The beginning and middle -- I liked the end.
Just like Christmas with the Kranks (movie) not a book I would recommend.
The narrator was truly wonderful.
I honestly didn't have a favorite character -- I enjoyed every single one of them.
I love listening to books from geat narrators, it is like being told a story that you never want to end.
Every moment moved me -- I didn't want it to end.
I enjoy reading all of the Michael Bennett stories, however this one was one of my favorites. The cliff hanger aspect was anticipated based on the type of action that was taking place. Just not certain how the authors will move on from here. Looking forward to the next book, however not as much as I typically do.
Yes, I enjoy the anticipation and mystery.
The story did not have enough of a pull to keep me interested. It droned on without purpose.
That the beginning never came to closure at the end of the book.
