After being dumped by his longtime girlfriend, 28-year-old Justin Halpern found himself living at home with his 73-year-old dad. Sam Halpern, who is “like Socrates, but angrier, and with worse hair,” has never minced words, and when Justin moved back home, he began to record all the ridiculous things his dad said to him.

    "nuggets of comic relief"

parts had me laughing hysterically. i needed this kind of healthy laugh and common sense approach to child rearing. my only downside was the dads voice. i think they should choose voices carefully, that dad had a really comical rough voice, probably not so necessary given the content.

Play Poker Like the Pros is the perfect introduction to the world of poker, including tournaments, home games, and online play. Hellmuth begins by explaining how to set-up and play the games and then moves on to basic and advanced strategy. You'll learn exactly which hands to play, when to bluff, when to raise, and when to fold. In addition, Hellmuth provides techniques for reading other players and avoiding "going on tilt" – poker speak for staying cool under pressure.

as if poker math wasn't hard enough, try following hands with just your ears. good practice for memory work but having trouble doing this while driving. really needs to be a book read.
