Attention all potty-mouthed, cheap-wine-drinking mothers: Prepare to meet your match. Any bad thought you’ve had about your kids, Nicole Knepper has had worse. Much worse. It’s not that she doesn’t love her kids. It’s that she understands what a mind-f*?% it can be to try to civilize those wild little beasts.

I enjoyed this book. Sometimes it did fall into a story solely about her family and events, but the author did a good job of using those events to remind us that sometimes the chaos of family is what makes our family ours. I definitely laughed out loud a couple times and found myself tearing up. I was a little offended by the use of the f word, but expected some vulgarity because of the title. Overall, satisfied with this purchase.

If u watch her shows and look forward to it every week, then I am pretty sureu will enjoy this book. She reviews some of the readings she's had, lists some life lessons as she always does. Gives us a little bit of a look into her life growing up, and talks a lot about life on the other side, hence the title. Overall a vwry enjoyable book, if u like her and the shiw, you wont be disappointed.

The bizarre murder of a parish priest at a New York bondage club opens Nikki Heat's most thrilling and dangerous case so far, pitting her against New York's most vicious drug lord, an arrogant CIA contractor, and a shadowy death squad out to gun her down. And that is just the tip of an iceberg that leads to a dark conspiracy reaching all the way to the highest level of the NYPD.

What would have made Heart-Shaped Box better?

It wasnt necessarily that the book had to be "better" it just wasnt something that I enjoyed. The writing wasbokay, the narrator was fine, the story itself was absolutely morbid and dark.

What did you like best about this story?

    Idk

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    Nothing. narrator wasnt the problem.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Actually I couldnt finish this book because it frightened me so. I believe in ghosts, perhaps that's why?
