But it wont be my last!! Very good story. Didnt find myself bored through this one, in fact I found I couldnt wait to listen to this one. I have several books I'm lostening to at once and out of those four I was listening to, this one was completed first. Good stoey, not so predictable. Narrator wasn't horrible, actually was pretty good. Good story, good narrator. You wont be disappointed.
kinda got lost in this story. Not sure why. i love Harry Dresden and the Dresden files. I'm not sure but this one was a little more difficult to get thru for me. i hung in there. I finished it. just listened in chunks instead of all at once.
Great wrap up to a series I was sad to see end. But the end was satisfactory in wrapping up all the stories in the same way the series was. Goofy fun. A nice change of pace. will be looking for more by Finnemoore. He is good.
I didn't get this book until a friend of mine recommended adamantly to me. I didn't get it strictly because I do NOT like Bill O Reilly. I don't.
I was pleasantly surprised by his book though. it is nothing like him.
i feel he did his homework and due diligence and put together a very thorough account of the killing of Jesus.
I am very glad my friend pushed me to get this book. It was finished in one day.
Many times I get books based on others reviews. you really cant tell based on publisher description if you will enjoy the book.
this one I himmed and hawed about for a week. hopefully you dont do that. i knew after the first 10 minutes I would like it.
it's a down to earth story about the lives and how they intersect and weave and what hapens in love and loss and true friendship.
Well......I was. I read all the hype about it being compared to Gone Girl. It wasn't as good as Gone Girl, but it stood on its own merits.
Its a good story. Kept me interested. I am one that has 2 or 3 audiobooks I listen to at a time and this story I did not leave. I listened to the whole book before moving on to another story.
I do have to say about 3/4 of the way thru it became a little difficult to distinguish between the 2 or 3 female characters. Not bad enough that I had to rewind or lost my place or anything.....but it did happen. Besides that this was an excellent read and I am glad I decided to take the chance. This was a good buy.
Love love love this series. I aclways come back to my Dresden. it's a well written series that keeps my interest book after book.
in fact I like Dresden so much I am taking a chance on his other series Codex of Alera. I keep hearing its just as good.
took me longer to get thru this one than the others. idk. just kinda getting the same ol same ol. i love the series. and came back to it always so it did stay with me. idk. maybe it was just me and my tastes wanting something different. good story. good narration. I've been here since the beginning and i WILL be finishing it.
I was pleasantly surprised by this audiobook. I am hoping that Audible does more books in this format. Each character voiced by a different person with music and sound effects. Sure made the book more enjoyable. There were instances where the music was too loud and it overtook the story, but it wasn't too bad that it distracted me or anything.
The storyline was engaging...it kept me interested. I did not see the ending coming at all!! I was hesitant because a 4 hour book for my credit seemed too much but I didn't regret it.
If u watch her shows and look forward to it every week, then I am pretty sureu will enjoy this book. She reviews some of the readings she's had, lists some life lessons as she always does. Gives us a little bit of a look into her life growing up, and talks a lot about life on the other side, hence the title. Overall a vwry enjoyable book, if u like her and the shiw, you wont be disappointed.
