I have several books I'm lostening to at once and out of those four I was listening to, this one was completed first. Good stoey, not so predictable. Narrator wasn't horrible, actually was pretty good. Good story, good narrator. You wont be disappointed.

Great wrap up to a series I was sad to see end. But the end was satisfactory in wrapping up all the stories in the same way the series was. Goofy fun. A nice change of pace. will be looking for more by Finnemoore. He is good.

Millions of people have thrilled to best-selling authors Bill O'Reilly and historian Martin Dugard's Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln, works of nonfiction that have changed the way we view history. Now the anchor of The O'Reilly Factor details the events leading up to the murder of the most influential man in history: Jesus of Nazareth. Nearly 2,000 years after this beloved and controversial young revolutionary was brutally killed by Roman soldiers, more than 2.2 billion human beings attempt to follow his teachings and believe he is God.

I didn't get this book until a friend of mine recommended adamantly to me. I didn't get it strictly because I do NOT like Bill O Reilly. I don't.
I was pleasantly surprised by his book though. it is nothing like him.
i feel he did his homework and due diligence and put together a very thorough account of the killing of Jesus.
I am very glad my friend pushed me to get this book. It was finished in one day.

Helene Wecker's dazzling debut novel tells the story of two supernatural creatures who appear mysteriously in 1899 New York. Chava is a golem, a creature made of clay, brought to life by a strange man who dabbles in dark Kabbalistic magic. When her master dies at sea on the voyage from Poland, she is unmoored and adrift as the ship arrives in New York Harbor. Ahmad is a jinni, a being of fire, born in the ancient Syrian Desert. Trapped in an old copper flask by a Bedouin wizard centuries ago, he is released accidentally by a tinsmith in a Lower Manhattan shop.

this one I himmed and hawed about for a week. hopefully you dont do that. i knew after the first 10 minutes I would like it.
it's a down to earth story about the lives and how they intersect and weave and what hapens in love and loss and true friendship.

Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. "Jess and Jason," she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost. And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough. Now everything’s changed. Unable to keep it to herself, Rachel offers what she knows to the police, and becomes inextricably entwined in what happens next, as well as in the lives of everyone involved. Has she done more harm than good? Compulsively readable, The Girl on the Train is an emotionally immersive, Hitchcockian thriller and an electrifying debut.

Well......I was. I read all the hype about it being compared to Gone Girl. It wasn't as good as Gone Girl, but it stood on its own merits.
Its a good story. Kept me interested. I am one that has 2 or 3 audiobooks I listen to at a time and this story I did not leave. I listened to the whole book before moving on to another story.
I do have to say about 3/4 of the way thru it became a little difficult to distinguish between the 2 or 3 female characters. Not bad enough that I had to rewind or lost my place or anything.....but it did happen. Besides that this was an excellent read and I am glad I decided to take the chance. This was a good buy.

On a sullen, cloudy July day ten years since 7/7, the happy, confident and optimistic British Prime Minister is visiting a charity in East London. It’s just two months after the general election which saw John Campbell's government returned to power with a clear majority, the economy is on the mend and the coalition is fast becoming a bad memory. Suddenly, a man appears out of the crowd and shoots him three times in the chest.

I was pleasantly surprised by this audiobook. I am hoping that Audible does more books in this format. Each character voiced by a different person with music and sound effects. Sure made the book more enjoyable. There were instances where the music was too loud and it overtook the story, but it wasn't too bad that it distracted me or anything.
The storyline was engaging...it kept me interested. I did not see the ending coming at all!! I was hesitant because a 4 hour book for my credit seemed too much but I didn't regret it.
