Good listen and entertaining enough, maybe there is just too many of the latest romance novels I have listened to that fell into the same story line basis regardless the reasons the successful rich business man falling unexpectedly for the woman that isn't one in his elite circle.
Its always nice to find a series that can actually keep me intrigued enough to purchase the next book in the series. So Far Darkness Haunts has a building and interesting enough story line to keep me curious to delve into the next part of the series. I suppose it the next book will determine if the series can keep me enthralled.
This series by far is one of my favorite, series of all times. K A Linde, knows how to write a heck of a love story. The series is full of heart gripping, angst, love and hate , tissue needed love story. There is so much to love about this series its just AMAZING.
Stripping all the layers of these two main characters, Tucker is soon becoming one of my favorite authors in the contemporary romance genre. Lets just say, bad boy turned guardian angel for all his employees and with a twist of FATE, this club owner finds his real Penny.
The story starts off a tad bit slow but begins to introduce some intriguing and interesting characters, I am curious to see where this series will go.
This is the second book, (read out of order) that I have read in this series. I really liked this one much more. This one is deep, and interesting. It was pretty good, and Yes its worth a credit!
This book has been sitting in in my wish list for close to a year, then finally I decided it was time to take the plunge into what other readers' had described as a taboo or forbidden love story. I loved it - FANTASTIC, heart gripping, compelling love story and Ok not as taboo as I originally thought. Its worth a shot to read. I really enjoyed this story!
When is Fire in the Darkness, book 2, coming to audible??? This is a fantastic start to a new series. I loved it. World building is creative and this book pulled me in from the very beginning. I can't wait for more Ember and Eli!
I loved it, and such a raw emotionally twisted story between Bethy and Tripp. The best of the series for me.
There are so many mix reviews on this series, although I admit I was on the edge if I would take the plunge and try it. And OH so glad I did, I must say this series ranks up there with my top wow reads like Fifty Shades of Grey. . So worth the time it took to listen to this great written complex story that takes your breath away in more ways than one. Book 1, Consequences, is filled with a perverse vengeance that is so twisted but OMG to good to press stop. I am on to book 2 to indulge more of this sinister, demented, perversely good tale of vengeance gone wrong.
Kidnaping, taken hostage., not really what I was expecting, but it wasn't bad either. Not certain on how to explain this review....The story thankfully did turn out okay, but I wasn't sure I could keep listening to it the beginning. But over all an okay read.
