Lion Breed and enforcer Rule Breaker has just a few rules he doesn't break. Not for anything. Not for anyone - like never have sex with a woman outside his own breed, especially a human woman. Especially someone too helpless, too fun loving and too full of life to ever be able to protect herself, let alone help him to protect her. If the damned animal inside him insists on a mate, then why pick her? A woman who is an easy target and who can be used as a weapon against him at any time. But what he suspects is mating heat may not be that at all.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rule Breaker?

The most memorable moment for me was when Gypsy finally gives in to temptation only to be disappointed with Rule's response. I don't usually do get emotional over publications but this one brought me to tears. Broken rules and connections never before realized.

Have you listened to any of Brianna Bronte’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Brianna really need to work on different voices and emotion. I have many of her readings and they are all beginning to sound the same.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

2 sessions to complete this book

    Any additional comments?

When are we going to find Dash's, Dog's, or Cassie's mates? A person can only be teased for a short time before losing interest.

Soon her suspicions are confirmed when she learns that Christy has the furthest thing from good intentions. She wants Adam back, and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get him, including turning Adam’s pack against Mercy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, this book always kept me guess what Mercy was going to get into next.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Definitely Mercy. She can't seem to stay out of trouble. Darn Coyote blood keeps her into the most mischief ever.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Extreme reactions!! Multiple laughs left me holding my sides in pain and gasping for air.

Declan Fitzgerald had always been the family maverick, but even he couldn't understand his impulse to buy a dilapidated mansion on the outskirts of New Orleans. All he knew was that ever since he saw Manet Hall, he'd been enchanted - and obsessed - with it. So when the opportunity to buy the house comes up Declan jumps at the chance to live out a dream.

What made the experience of listening to Midnight Bayou the most enjoyable?

Not to spoil the story but this story was a riveting ghost story with a happy ending.

What did you like best about this story?

Deklynn's ability to always provide a humorous remark even in the face of despair.

Have you listened to any of James Daniels and Sandra Burr ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I will look forward to duel narrators in the future. These two made this story very enjoyable and not mondane.

What would have made The Devil's Due better?

    A prologue would have helped.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lora Leigh again?

    Yes

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Brianna does a great job on all her works.

    Any additional comments?

I have listened to all the breeds series and this was not her best story. I was lost from the beginning. When I finally realized where in her time line this book was set the story was over.
