A collection of stories written and read by Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Award-winning author Neil Gaiman, including "A Writer’s Prayer", which he says, "was written shortly before I began American Gods. I knew the first two verses when I began it, and the conclusion was there when I reached it. This is why I love writing."

What did you like best about Telling Tales? What did you like least?

I understand the goal of the music was to accentuate the stories but it didn't work. It was grating to hear that

Would you consider the audio edition of Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See? to be better than the print version?

Not better than the print version but it is excellent to have both for beginning readers.

    Any additional comments?

I am not a huge Gwyneth Paltrow fan but she is a wonderful fit for these stories.

For the three years Shadow spent in prison, all he wanted was to get back to the loving arms of his wife and stay out of trouble for the rest of his life. But days before his release, he learns that his wife has been killed in an accident, and his world becomes a colder place.

What made the experience of listening to American Gods the most enjoyable?

I love Neil Gaiman and this novel is top of the list for me so I was a little disappointed to see that he wasn't narrating this one himself (as he usually does). George Guidall was the perfect alternative. His voice is wonderful and he really made the story come alive. Even my three year old paid attention!
