I am a huge Gilbert Morris fan. I have listened to several of the audio books and read several of his books. I was extremely disappointed in this book. Usually you are captured within the first chapter. I kept listening after the first chapter and still could not get into this book. However, I will try again after letting it sit for a few months.
Christine Rendel's reading was satisfactory.
Loved this book. I could not wait to download the second in the series.
I enjoyed the first two books more. Todd Haberkorn did a wonderful job narrating.
I did not enjoy this book. Perhaps it was the genre. I am not sure. I have listened to other Lauren Oliver books and enjoyed them. Sarah Drew is a great narrator. I am guessing the genre.
I really enjoyed this first book. I had this on my wish list and took it off three times before I finally got it. I am so glad that I listened to that inner voice that said, "Give it a chance!"
The continuing story of Shilo Irons and Cheney Duvall is very entertaining. audible only has four books in the series of eight. Would like to see the rest of the series added.
Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not. I finished it because I wanted to know what happened. I won't seek out another book from this author.
I probably will not finish the series. The narrator, Jessica Almasy is always wonderful. The story was just not something that enjoyed.
The spiritual and moral growth of the main character is wonderful. Again, audible only has the first three books of the series. Would appreciate the last three books.
I really did like this book. The narrator left much to be desired. I kept listening because I wanted to know how the main character would develop. I know that audible only has the first three books of the series. I would like to see them add the last three.
I suppose this book would be good if this type of thing is for you.
