Would you listen to Catching Fire again? Why?

No. I would read it again. Just a personal preference, I didn't care for the narrator.

What other book might you compare Catching Fire to and why?

Any readers who enjoyed the first Hunger Games books or any of the Twilight books will enjoy this book. It is a well written story with a combination of action, love, and interesting political statements.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I didn't care of the narrator's interpretation of the story. Her voice was monotone at parts where I wanted to hear emotion and got high pitched when it was full of emotion. Its just a personal preference of mine.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. Once I got into the second section, It did move faster and I listened in longer segments.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Where does The Help rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was my first Audible book and it was fantastic. I was able to listen on my iPod, in the car, on my stereo at home, very convenient.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Help?

The voices of all the characters resounded in my head even after I stopped listening. The last few Chapters were magical and memorable, full of happy and sad emotion.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The narrator's were great. I thought this was a great way to experience the book, like a movie but with all the good parts included.

Who was the most memorable character of The Help and why?

Minnie was the most memorable character of The Help because she demonstrates the complexity of being a woman in a beautifully simple way.
