The mix of science and art history as well as Italian scenes was great.
Robert Langdon was well done.
The narrator enjoyed reading the story and understood it well, obvious from his voice intonations.
Overall an excellent book, however it is not outstanding. The ending is a deviation from Brown's normal endings. Wondering if this is the last volume in Langdon series now...cuz he paint himself into corner. I do appreciate that Mr. Brown did not lecture on religion and religous beliefs' as he did in the previous installment.
Young Herbert and Anderson did a nice job tying up alot of information absent from the original Dune works. The additional background knowledge makes me want to listen to the original trilogy again. This was the culminating book of the Houses trilogy and did wrap up quite nicely. IMHO along with the Machine War trilogy, this trilogy could stand on its own even without father Herbert's series of novels.
