The story starts out a little slow, but once you have overcome the first 10 minutes it is a great listen. The subtle imagery he uses to describe not only the charaters but the scenery is incredible, you can actually see it in your minds eye.
Written in a narrative that anyone can understand. I'm not a "drink the kool aid" type person but Beck makes his points profoundly and soundly. History, both good and bad, is a part of us as individuals and as a nation. It shows what BIG government is capable of and shows what someone with a moral center is as well. I highly suggest that you listen to this book.
