When Christina Haag was growing up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, John F. Kennedy, Jr., was just one of the boys in her circle of prep-school friends. A decade later, after they had both graduated from Brown University and were living in New York City, Christina and John were cast in an off-Broadway play together. It was then that John confessed his long-standing crush on her, and they embarked on a five-year love affair.

I was SO thrilled to find the audio version of this book about 8 months after I purchased and read/re-read the book form. I enjoyed that it was narrated by the author because I feel as though I'm reliving the experience with Christina (due to inflections and depth that only lending her voice to her words can add). A tender love story told with amazing detail, Christina takes the listener back to life in NYC in the 70's, 80's in and in the lives of one of America's beloved familes. Her beautiful and richly descriptive style of writing makes you feel connected to her journey, their journey. I shared the audio version during a trip to Martha's Vineyard with my husband and mother-in-law. In no time, they were both drawn in and asked me to "turn the book" back on after rest stops. "Come To The Edge" was a BIG hit with everyone I've shared it with.
