The world of man was brought to its knees with the zombie apocalypse. A hundred and fifty years have passed since man clawed and climbed his way back from the brink of extinction. Civilization has rebooted, man has begun to rebuild, creating new communities and society. It is on this fragile new shaky ground that a threat worse than the scourge of the dead has sprung... Once again, one man finds himself once thrust into the forefront of a war he wants nothing to do with and seemingly cannot win.

Would you listen to Lycan Fallout again? Why?

Oh YES, I would listen to Lycan Fallout again. Every time you listen to, or read a book again, you can find something that you over looked the first time. A second listen can paint a better picture of that world and the people in it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mike is and always will be my favorite. But I really like B.T.s descendent is one that has truly caught my attention. Really liking her attitude.

Which character – as performed by Sean Runnette – was your favorite?

Oh that's Mike. For me Sean Runnette IS Mike.

    Any additional comments?

I really love all of the Mark Tufo books. My only complaint is that I can listen to them faster than he can write them. So as much as I believe everybody should get a break... BACK TO WORK MISTER TUFO, I need my Mike Talbot fix.

From birth to death, The War is all the citizens of Dystance know. As children it is drilled into their heads that war is the purpose behind all existence. Winter doesn't agree. She's stumbled across remnants of life the way it was before The War began and now she longs to be as free as her ancestors. With help from her best friend, Cedar, and the boy she is forbidden to love, Tallow, she believes she can do it. Winter can see a life beyond the Pickets, beyond the constant hunger and the threat of death, beyond the war machine.

Would you consider the audio edition of Dystance to be better than the print version?

All most all of my "reading" is now done on audio books. However, in the books I have read AND listened to, I can say that I have always liked the audio version better. I can lean back, close my eyes, and "see" the story as it unfolds.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dystance?

I won't say because it would be a major spoiler for any that have not had the chance to listen to this great book.

Have you listened to any of Julia Whelan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first book that I have listened to that Julia has read. I hope she gets the chance read the next book in this series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If there were any way possible, I would have listened non-stop.

    Any additional comments?

I have everything that Audible has available from Mark Tufo. I plan on being able to truthfully continue to say that for as long as Mr. Tufo continues to put his wonderful books on Audible.com.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend The Book of Riley, and I have to many people. I love the way that Mark Tufo brings his characters to life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Riley and Ben-Ben. I like how they react to each other.

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can sit back, close my eyes and almost see what's happening when Sean reads the story. Like my own personal movie.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Loved the whole thing!

    Any additional comments?

I'm beginning to wonder if Patches doesn't have history with Mrs. D. from ZF. There are times she sounds a lot like her. Got to love that cat!

Would you listen to Zombie Fallout 7: For The Fallen again? Why?

Oh Yes. I loved this story from beginning to end. I'd have no problem listening to it more than once.

What did you like best about this story?

I think Mark Tufo is at his best when he combines Mike, BT and John the Tripper.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Just about any that has BT dealing with John.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It's so easy to type LOL. But when you actually find yourself laughing out loud and enjoying a story enough so you can do that over and over, well it's well worth the credit and keeping it handy to listen to again and again.

    Any additional comments?

The duo of Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette simply can't be topped from my point of view. And in a world where I had unlimited wishes, one would be that Mark could write great books like this as fast as I could listen to Sean read them.

When the zombie apocalypse strikes without warning one dog will hold the fate of her pack in her paws. This is the story of Riley, an American bulldog. Follow along as she tries to keep her pack safe from a zombie apocalypse. Traveling with her are Ben-Ben the high-strung Yorkie; her favorite two-legger, Jessie; Jessie's younger brother, Zachary; and Riley's archenemy, Patches the cat. They are a rag-tag group of survivors, who, when pushed to the limit, realize that they are all each other has.

Would you listen to The Book of Riley again? Why?

Gladly, over and over. It's a unique twist that makes me put a good loyal dog at the top of my zombie survival list.

Which character – as performed by Sean Runnette – was your favorite?

Riley is brave and loyal a perfect example of her breed. But little Ben-Ben steals the show.

    Any additional comments?

Riley is a wonderfully colorful story that only has one fault it was over too fast. (Wait, maybe two faults, not enough bacon for Ben-Ben)

I love to close my eyes and let Sean Runnette bring the story to life (or death). Seans voice is the perfect paint brush to Mark Tufos canvas. Together they are FANTASTIC.

This is the story of Michael Talbot, his family, and his friends: a band of ordinary people trying to get by in extraordinary times. When disaster strikes, Mike, a self-proclaimed survivalist, does his best to ensure the safety and security of those he cares for. Book one of the Zombie Fallout Trilogy follows our lead character at his self-deprecating, sarcastic best. What he encounters along the way leads him down a long dark road, always skirting the edge of insanity.

What made the experience of listening to Zombie Fallout the most enjoyable?

Mark Tufo has a wonderfully warped way of writing that keeps me not only interested but THRILLED with each new chapter and every new book. And Sean Runnette brings Michael Talbot and his friends to life.

What other book might you compare Zombie Fallout to and why?

In my opinion, there is no series that can be truly be compared to the Zombie Fallout series.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Sean has a great voice. Every time I think of Michael Talbot, I hear Sean voice. In my opinion Sean Runnette IS Mike Talbot.

    Any additional comments?

I loved ZOMBIE FALLOUT. I introduced my sister and oldest son to Mark Tufos books because I enjoyed it so much. We all get every new Tufo book the day it hits the audible library. The only problem I can see is that Mark doesn't write as fast as I can listen/read.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.
