Joey W. Hill never. Maxine Mitchell sure she did a nice job with the poor material.
No personal growth in the leads failure to explain the inner scars the lead carried.
narrator did a very good job with weak material that depended on shock value.
The narrator had a strong voice despite rough material.
Don't wast your money
The story was weak the female protagonist drove me crazy with her belief she was better than her male counter part. She was willing to go along with anything he said as long as she didn't think he cared? Joe alpha male's woman tells him she was nearly sexually assaulted and his response is to jump her not go after the man responsible? Those are actually the least of their problems believe it or not.
Yes I recommend them to all my friends with a god sense of humor and open mind. They are always entertaining and make me laugh out loud.
She handles the often racy bordering on raunchy material with flare and humor.
Resistance is futile
I love this series as a whole. Lust and laughter together with the supernatural is a sinfully delightful combination.
Yes the concept is generally good
Less exposition and redundant conversations.
Only because she it tied to this series. Her voices and accents often come out like cartoon voices. It is distracting and annoying
This would not my first choice for a read or listen. It will however keep you company on the treadmill or driving on lonely highways. The series has potential but the author bogs the story down with annoying redundancy. Like most romantic/suspense the villains are often obvious. Engaging characters you want to route for will allow you to overlook the weak narration and tendency beat a detail to death.Strong alpha men finding equally strong yet feminine women will always appeal to me as both a reader and a listener. Holt presents that aspect well in this and the first novel. The truth is with growth she could be the next Feehan until then I will pick up her books for a listen or a read when I'm in the mood to indulge in something light.
Every time is didn't think it could become less believable it got worse
Not gone completely over the top with Stark's wealth. He practically has a bat cave.
She was fine the story was lacking
The prose is very good at times but I'm no fan of fantasy without a basis in reality.
Will not try the rest of the series
The dynamic between the couple outside the bedroom.
Taryn because she refuses to accept the limitation others place on her.
It had the same effect as popcorn you don't even realize you are over doing it until your hand scrape the bottom of the bowl.
Behind all the dominant posturing are two lonely hearts looking for the life mate the can trust and respect.
Jamie's dry wit and shameless honesty
Jamie because herself selflessness is the core of her strength
I have, this was as good as the first installment. She never fails to deliver on the surprising humor in intimate situations.
Not all cravings are bad for you.
Admitting how much I like this series is like confessing to drinking alone, I'm not real proud of it but I do enjoy it.
Yes it's the beginning of a great series
Anna she's strength wrapped in innocence
He's Charles voice
Just a fun time
The story flowed well in the beginning it had a great feel to it. The narrator used horrible accents
No the ending dragged three four five conversations saying the same thing repeatedly.
The narrator was terrible. Don't do accents if you aren't good at it.
yes the story was go the sex hot but it could have been two hours shorter to help the flow
had a Feehan feel to it but became bogged down in second part.
Yes it has a fun fantasy feel to it. The lead character had a dry humor I liked.
Ever wonder if evil really lies beneath us?
Should be in straight Fantasy where it belongs
