I am quiet and love being comfortable. I love curling up in a corner either reading or listening to a nice romantic book.

Kitty Robertson has grown up wealthy and influential, and she's never more at home than when in an English parlor displaying her social graces. When she looks for a husband, of course she seeks a man just as at home in his position - hopefully a lofty one - as she is. Nicholas Glenville, Marquess of Greystone, is just such a man, and she can't help but accept his proposal of marriage. But at the very first ball of the year, she meets an enigmatic, gorgeous duke who asks her for a dance....

OMG!!!! This book had me at the edge of my seat just anticipating the next moves. Some parts cought me off guard as I was not expecting those moves others I was not so much surprised. The court scene was my utmost best! I really like when the narrator took on Richard's role and went with it to the fullest!! Well done! I would recommend this book with the fullest 5 stars. I wish it was a series so we could know what happened with Lady Anne. The author did a fabulous job and the narrator Anne kudos to you!!

Reckless desire sends Charlotte Daicheston into the garden with a dashing masked stranger. He's powerful and unforgettable, a devastatingly handsome footman who lures her - not against her will - into a grand indiscretion at a masquerade ball. Then he vanishes. Several years later, after Charlotte has made her dazzling debut in London society, they meet again. But the rogue is no footman. He's rich, titled, and he doesn't remember Charlotte. Worse, he's the subject of some scandalous gossip.

This book was very good although I found myself grinding my teeth with anger as Charlotte kept telling him she only slept with him and he keeps putting her off and saying it is his brother. For God sake man, think!!! If he just thought hard enough, he would have realized that and stuff would have been a lot better but it did make the book interesting. Then again, this book was very long for no reason!

It is A.D. 1486. Fresh from his treacherous turning of the tides against Richard III in the Battle of Bosworth, Sir Gaston de Russe's reputation is dark and dirty. Those loyal to Richard hate him and those loyal to Henry Tudor fear him. He is, after all, The Dark One. In order to gain a strong foothold in Yorkshire, Henry sends Gaston to one of the largest fortresses in the north, a massive bastion called Mt. Holyoak Castle.

Kathryn is becoming one of my most favorite and loved author. I have read several of her books and this one was no different. I love Gaston so much! I found myself listening as I wake up and prepared for work, on my way to work, on lunch, then driving home and while I was home. It was so interesting.

Sir Richard Kenworthy has less than a month to find a bride. He knows he can't be too picky, but when he sees Iris Smythe-Smith hiding behind her cello at her family's infamous musicale, he thinks he might have struck gold. She's the type of girl you don't notice until the second - or third - look, but there's something about her, something simmering under the surface, and he knows she's the one.

I am a fan of Julia Quinn and wish for more in this Smith-Smythe series. I love the family! In this book, as I listened, I was so frustrated because I did not know where it was going and what to expect. I nearly died laughing with the scene at the musicale!! I was doubled over and just wished I could have listened to it over and over again. I hated Richard's tactics and wished he was just truthful to Iris but in the end it worked out. Can't wait to see if we have more in this series!

I read the first book in this series a while back and had to refresh myself with it and bring me up to this second book. Ms. Smith has done a really good job however, she needs to bring these books our faster. In this series alone there is at least, 4 more books to come to match up all the League's Rogues with romance and adventure. Cedric I predict will be next then Ashton and so on..............both already have female that we have read about that is boiling their blood. Ms. Smith bring it on, I am ready with a bottle of wine!

1264 A.D. - Davyss de Winter is the champion for King Henry III, a powerful and arrogant man that descends from a long line of powerful knights. He is also a much-sought after man and has had more than his share of female admirers, including a besotted baron's daughter who bore him bastard twins.

I liked this book a lot however, I hate that the author made Davyss into a lunatic after his wife and himself grew that bond with each other. I think it was unnecessary to portray him just going off the rockers if she was taken etc. We know he is strong just let us picture him being the strong willed determined man he is and kick ass until he got her back. All in all it was a good book and I had a great time listening to it.

I was skeptic listening at the beginning of this book but as it continued on, I became very intrigued. It was well written and I like the characters a lot. I was really surprised that no one picked up on Danielle being the King's daughter! Although I can see that if she looked as beautiful as her mom like they kept saying. I hated her childish attitude at times but then again she was a child in herself no older than 16-17 years so I can understand. All in all, I enjoyed this book and shall look for more from the author.

And his only hope of discovering the culprit lies with Morainn Ross, a reclusive, sensual beauty gifted with second sight. Branded a witch, Morainn has never met a man who accepted her strange talent, much less one who could so easily inflame her passion. There's no resisting Tormand's rugged masculinity - and no escaping the enemy, who grows more twisted every day.

I was listening to the book and immediately thought about Celiac disease. Those kids made me want to laugh and cry at the same time! Loved, loved this book in the series and can't wait for Book 3.
