Yes, my friends would enjoy the characters in this book.
Susan Boyce's other books in this series.
The reader helps bring out the individual characters.
Yes and No! There was some bad language is this book. I do not like it!
The friendships developed by the characters in this story. I read the second book before the first so I knew a little bit about the first book. They had to work hard on remodeling the property. At my age I don't know if I could have. Takes me back to the saying 'Where there is a will There is a way".
Yes, because they were all trying to achieve the same goal. Get some of their money back that was stolen from them. All the while trying to keep their family from falling a part.
She did a very good job of making the different characters come alive.
A pretty good read minus language.
I did not read the print version. I have been listening to Audible books for over 2 years now. No looking back. Holding a book hurts my hands, so listening is best for me and we travel a lot. Listening in the car for five hours at a time helps make the trip seem shorter.
We love Irene Hannon's books. They have suspense and keep us on the edge of our seats. We love that she is a woman of faith and she keeps it in the telling of her stories. The main character knew things were amiss in the investigation of the death of her husband and son so the ending was very surprising.
She keeps the characters interesting and the plot intriguing.
Kate Baldwin is a very good narrator and she keeps you interested in the story.
I don't want to give the story away if you haven't read or listened to it yet. I love that when I read or listen to this author there will be no bad language or sex scenes. But in no way are they boring, preachy, or uninteresting!
I have never read a book quite like this before. In a mostly good way. Especially if you are interested in butterflies.
After All These Years by Susan Isaacs. You think the main Character might have done it and they set out to prove they didn't. Although He's Gone has a moral of the story ending and After All These Years didn't.
No, and she is wonderful. I would listen to her again if there is no bad language.
I kept trying to guess who done it and all of the particulars and I was totally wrong and that hardly ever happens. Surprising conclusion.
Although This book was hard to put down the bad language took away from it. There are so many words in the English language to describe subjects and situations why don't writers use those instead? I would have given it 5 stars otherwise!
Anyone who doesn't mind profanity! I love a good mystery and have read hundreds without bad language.
I would have to give it a lot of thought.
I didn't even listen to 5 minutes of this book. WHY do authors use bad language in their books? I would never recommend this author to anyone! I question the narrator in their choice too!
No, since seeing ads for the movie I thought why not listen to this before seeing the movie. It was an Audible Daily Deal. I could not get into it at all so I returned it. Now I don't know if I'll watch the movie.
I'm not sure, I'm searching my wish list and Audible.
Ending not what was expected.
The bad language is not necessary. Because of it I won't recommend it.
The readers did a very good job. Especially Tom Stechulte, he is one of my favorites.
The mother is the keeper, maybe?
It was hard to follow the story line so it was confusing as to what was happening at times.
I love Dee Henderson's books and this is the beginning of another great series.
True forgiveness of wrongs done to Kelly.
Tom is a marvelous narrator.
Yes, it kept you wanting to hear more.
Having faith in God in dire situations.
You became so involved in all the characters personalities.
I would have to say Bruce.
Yes, but you wanted to contemplate about what you read. The story has a lot of depth to it.
It needs another book to tie the ending up in a better way.
It was so totally engrossing that I couldn't hardly put it down!
All of the characters just pulled you into their lives.
Yes, she was perfect as always. I've listened to this complete series and Pam Turlow did a fantastic job!
I have to say again that Dr. Crisp was marvelous.
I think that there should be one more at least added to this series to tye up all the ends of Dr. Crisps story.
The characters in this book are so real that I could hardly put it down.
Sophie's Heart by Lori Wick. It lets you see each person as an individual loved by God.
Her voice and inflections of different characters is perfect.
I would take Dr. Crisp to dinner. His insight into people is astonishing.
