A note from the author: With Full House, Charlotte Hughes and I teamed up to create an exciting new series. Now we bring you the second audiobook, Full Tilt, filled with even more fast-paced action, crazy characters, steamy sex, suspense, and nonstop hilarity. While these audios are not set in the world of Stephanie Plum, we're convinced they will bring you all the fun, wisecracks, and the adventure that we love.

As a fan of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, I found this book to be a disappointment. The traditional dry humor was missing. Instead, it seemed that it was forced and just didn't reach the same standard.

“I didn’t do it!” is something cops hear all the time. But when the plea comes from a close friend who’s fallen on hard times, it’s tougher to ignore, especially for young Officer Danny Boyle. It’s the start of another action-packed summer for the wisecracking Boyle and straight-arrow cop (now chief of detectives) John Ceepak down the Jersey Shore as they do their best to help Danny’s friend, a young nurse who claims she has been falsely accused of aggravated assault by a prestigious Sea Haven doctor.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

LOVE this series and can't get enough. I find myself laughing out loud. Grabenstein is terrific and Woodman is a brilliant narrator. Don't EVER get a different narrator for this series. I've recommended this series to others and they've all become fans as well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Free Fall?

The ending was memorable, in that I didn't want it to end. This book is too much fun -- I wanted it to keep going.

Have you listened to any of Jeff Woodman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Jeff Woodman is an absolutely OUTSTANDING narrator. I've purchased other books simply because he narrates them.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Didn't want to put this book down and didn't want it to end.

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the next Ceepak/Boyle book!

What if a reality TV show like Jersey Shore set up production in the fictional seaside resort Sea Haven? What if hitting the gym, tanning, and doing a little laundry aren't the only things the contestants get into? By-the-book officer John Ceepak and his wisecracking young partner, Danny Boyle, have to babysit the buff and boozy kids partying it up in a Jersey shore rental house for TV’s summertime hit Fun House while simultaneously trying to stop the rowdy kids from breaking the law up and down the beach. But even Ceepak and Danny can’t stop one young cast member from being murdered—and others from being threatened with the same fate.

The other reviewers have said it all beautifully. Another great Danny and Ceepak story that made me laugh out loud numerous times. This narrator is EXCEPTIONAL and makes me want to listen to this again and again. I hate thinking that I'll have to wait 2 years for the next one. I love this series!

Whatever happened to Calico Joe? It began quietly enough with a pulled hamstring. The first baseman for the Cubs AAA affiliate in Wichita went down as he rounded third and headed for home. The next day, Jim Hickman, the first baseman for the Cubs, injured his back. The team suddenly needed someone to play first, so they reached down to their AA club in Midland, Texas, and called up a 21-year-old named Joe Castle. He was the hottest player in AA and creating a buzz....

In the usual stellar writing style of Grisham, Calico Joe will grab you right away, keep you listening for hours, and leave you wishing for more. You certainly don't have to be a baseball fan to love this book, but if you are, you'll especially enjoy it. I have never been disappointed by a Grisham book. As always, I'm already looking forward to his next one.

But their investigation is derailed before it begins-en route to their first meeting with Bergin, Sean and Michelle find him murdered. It is now up to them to ask the questions no one seems to want answered....

As an avid Baldacci fan, I ignored the negative reviews. I shouldn't have. What's happened to Baldacci? This story was well below his usual quality. Narrator for Michelle was distracting, and she made the character seem extremely unlikeable at all times. I'll pay attention to the reviews before I buy another Baldacci book.

A prominent citizen suffers a heart attack on opening day of a brand new boardwalk roller coaster in the seedy seaside resort town Sea Haven, New Jersey. Initially ruled a tragic accident, it isnt long before there are suspicious hints of foul play, especially after another dead body is discovered: a stunning young beach beauty. Fortunately for mystery lovers, the straight-arrow cop John Ceepak and his wise-cracking young partner Danny Boyle are on the case.

Having become a fan of Danny and Cepak, I couldn't wait for this new one to be released. I wasn't disappointed! I find myself laughing out loud while listening. The narrator is exceptional and helps increase the enjoyment of this book. Sheer fun. Can't wait for the next one.

Stubbornness has landed private eye V.I. Warshawski in big trouble at her Chicago office. With her grand old Loop building set to be razed, she's become a hold-out tenant amid frayed wiring and scary, empty corridors. Then she finds a homeless woman with three kids in the basement, and before she can rescue them, they disappear. Worst of all, she's been implicated in a murder after the body of Deirdre Messenger, a prominent lawyer's wife, turns up sprawled across her desk.

    Shaliali says: "What a Shame"
    "Disappointed Paretsky fan"
    Overall

As a fan of previous V.I. Warshawsky books, this one was a disappointment. The narration made it difficult to keep paying attention. This narrator was monotoned and even mispronounced some words, including names of locations referred to in the book. With a better narrator, this book would have been much more interesting. I was so excited to have a Paretsky book available and ended up sorry I used a book credit for this one.

President Kerry Kilcannon and his fiancie, television journalist Lara Costello, have at last decided to marry. But their wedding is followed by a massacre of innocents in a lethal burst of gunfire, challenging their marriage and his presidency in ways so shattering and indelibly personal that Kilcannon vows to eradicate gun violence and crush the most powerful lobby in Washington - the Sons of the Second Amendment (SSA).

I should have listened . . . Because I have enjoyed previous books by this author, I purchased it even though the reviews weren't overly positive. I should have listened to them! This book is not up to the author's usual standards. It's boring -- skip this one!
