great short stories, when I purchased it I didn't realize I had read it on paper, narration was not very good
good story line, characters build and increase in depth, the story continues to get better with each edition
While social engineers are working tirelessly to remove classics like this from our schools, its stunning to go back and read this story and learn that this insult of calling someone an Uncle Tom is such a dishonest portrayal, in fact Tom should be held up for our kids as a role model for any person of any race.
Amazing the facts that are censored from our text books, after reading the amazing details in this book it makes you understand how great the threat is to our future when we allow social engineers to write our text books
The story had no depth or feel of being there, the characters couldn't capture your attention
Really great science fiction, rich story line, has the feel of 1984 written with the perspective of having lived into the modern age
Great book, I love Louis L'Amour when he goes outside his typical genre, all of his books are so well researched that they put you in the place and make you feel the location.
The story was ok, but I was expecting Ludlum and instead got some other writer with non of Ludlum's talent.
Classic Ludlum, the story line keeps you guessing, the pace was fast but realistic, the characters were inspired and like what you would expect in real life
The story became boring, the narration was real good but the story droned on and on
If you love twentieth century historical novels this one is a great read, great narration, I've learned a lot, question whether the history is slanted by socialist views of the author. this will stir me to do further research
