a good book if you've read the rest of the series, but it jumps around in time through the whole book... one page it's current time and the next it's twenty years ago.
sections of the book were lifted from one of my favorite novels, Nine Princes in Amber, and other concepts came straight from the mini series "The Lost Room". Still entertaining though.
The stress of her regard is not your typical vampire novel, it's not your typical anything. Like anything Tim Powers writes it begins in left field and goes from there.
This one requires your attention, but it is worth the effort.
It's terrible when the narrator messes up a great story. I love the Amber books, but this narrator makes half of the characters sound like driveling idiots... the whole five book story arc should be told in one voice, the voice of the protagonist as it is him narrating his story from his perspective at the end of it all.
Didn't finish this one, I expected it to be funny but it was just a sad comentary on an old stick in the mud's life.
Hounded is a good story and a funny one. Reaching into the Celtic myths and bringing them to life, it makes it almost believable.
Charlaine Harris hits it out of the park with this suspenseful thriller. We knew she could write about vampires and werewolves, here she shows that she can write about real life as well. Aurora Teagarden is a great character in this excellent series. listen soon.
A wonderful mystery from a mistress of the supernatural, this book has romance AND thrills... And real people.
