Clear and easy to understand. A great place to start for beginners and a great plan for seasoned veterans to switch to. The concepts resonated with me and after having been through several workout plans over 5 years, this will be what I'll settle on. There are only one or two niggly things where the broad advice requires some personalisation (daily caloric intake, supplement regime, etc). Once you're into this line of thinking there are lots of other support functions available on his website as well which I plan to check out.
Very enjoyable listen. This book isn't necessary if you have his main books (Bigger, Leaner, Stronger), but it did contain some useful info that made it worthwhile for me (e.g. drinking alcohol on a diet plan).
I couldn't get halfway through this before deciding it was all theoretical and useless. Has no application in reality. All vague and poetic musings over "how to think".
Really great, recommend to all. I was turned off by how conservative Dr Covey is... didn't appreciate invocations of God...thought it was prudish to insist we "not think pornographic thoughts". Still, a great listen.
Really great listen, well read, I think everyone should/read listen to this. Well read, well paced, thoughtful.
Absolutely brilliant. Couldn't stop listening. Medina deserves to be a highly praised pop culture scientist in the same vein as Neil Degrasse Tyson and Bill Nye.
I found this book drew out on overly specific systems for the first 3/5's of the book. Wasn't concise, and not overly useful. However, it was well read, and the author is clearly an intelligent man.
