When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There should be a credit issued for any listener who downloaded this limp biscuit. Mind numbingly slow narration didn't help. I'm shamed for wasting my precious time on this earth bothering with this sorry excuse of erotica. If anything it's anti-rotica or just rot.

Can't believe I didn't see reviews first. Believe them all.

For a really sexy read just pick up the dictionary and randomly look up definitions. "That's hot!" This is not.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Next read will be something from Steven King. Not exactly Brit Lit but at least he has characters with more that 250 word vocabularies and true plot lines that zip along.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Obviously she took the job for the money. I thought I heard her yawn once or twice trying to get through a sentence. Am I right?

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Someone made money to keep the economy running.

    Any additional comments?

I've enjoyed not wasting any time considering anything by this author again
