  • Hardcore History: The Extremely Unauthorized Story of the ECW

ECW was one extreme contradiction piled on top of another. It was an incredibly influential company in the world of professional wrestling during the 1990s, yet it was never profitable. It portrayed itself as the ultimate in anti-authority rebellion, but its leadership was, at various points, working covertly with the two wrestling giants, the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. Most of all, it blurred the line between real life and the fantasy world of professional wrestling like no other company before it.

What made the experience of listening to Hardcore History the most enjoyable?

The back story's of the stars

What about Karl Miller’s performance did you like?

sorta monotone but not to the point of unlistenable. Still enjoyed it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Bit of both. Good trip down memory lane. :)

    Any additional comments?

If you didn't watch Ecw then I'd recommend skipping this one.

The end begins with a viral outbreak unlike anything mankind has ever encountered before. The infected are subject to delirium, fever, a dramatic increase in violent behavior, and a one-hundred percent mortality rate. Death. But it doesn't end there. The victims return from death to walk the earth. When a massive military operation fails to contain the plague of the living dead it escalates into a global pandemic.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

GET RID OF BREWSTER PLEASE !!!!

Would you be willing to try another one of Oliver Wyman’s performances?

Maybe, the characters sounded very wooden . There voices never changed tone no matter the situation!

    Any additional comments?

I'm sorry but be warned that Brewster is gonna get on your D*mn nerves. I couldn't listen anymore.went and bought the actual book because of him. Other then him very good story. Starts slow but picks up in the end. Also the military seems VERY lenient toward there sub ordinates , I wouldn't have dared questioned the C.O's (commanding officers) orders as much as these soldiers do wow .very insubordinate grunts lol
