  • The Secret History of the World: As Laid Down by the Secret Societies

In this groundbreaking new work, Mark Booth embarks on an enthralling intellectual tour of our world's secret histories. Starting from a dangerous premise - that everything we've been taught about our world's past is corrupted, and that the stories put forward by the various cults and mystery schools throughout history are true - Booth produces nothing short of an alternate history of the past 3,000 years.

    Same headline as the book1

  • The Gospel of Mary Magdalene

Perhaps no figure in biblical scholarship has been the subject of more controversy and debate than Mary Magdalene. Although she is discussed in the gospels of Philip, Thomas, Peter, and Bartholomew in the collection of writings known as the Gnostic gospels that were rejected by the early Christian church, there is no better insight into this mysterious and influential woman than Mary's own gospel.

Richard D. Shewman says: "Insightful look into early Christian Gnosticism"
    "Whiny beginning!"

Would you try another book from Jean-Yves Leloup and/or the narrators?

Yes. Other woman narrator! Too whiny. Too melodramatic. Normal voice without the dramatics!!

What could Jean-Yves Leloup have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Straight reading! different female voices!

How could the performance have been better?

    Less drama in the beginning!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Gospel of Mary Magdalene?

Replace first narrater with "matter of fact voice"

    Any additional comments?

Get more esoteric books! Little choice!
