I have read or listened to most of Mr. Grisham's previous works and this one is not worth the effort. It is a blatant diatribe against the death penalty masquerading as a novel. He recycles plots from previous works almost identically and pushes common "hot buttons" involving racial issues to prove his point. I wish I hadn't wasted the time. I'm sure this title brought Mr. Grisham much income but he should be ashamed to publish such dribble.
