I felt that it dwelt too much on the one event. Other episodes had little digressions from the main story line where this one has very little to say about what else may be going on.
As a result of some minor irritating repetition each book could stand alone as it's own story meaning, if a reader pulled one book out of the center of the group they would have a complete story without having to read all of them. Of course reading(or listening to) all of them gives much better character development.
The four star rating is due mainly to the repetitiveness when reading/listening to the whole series. Overall this was a great story.
I found out that there is a sequel which is the second half of the story. With that realization I can enthusiastically say that this is one fantastic story.
