There’s something out there: a juggernaut of evil bearing down to crush the Republic - unless one lone Jedi, shunned and reviled, can stop it. Revan: hero, traitor, conqueror, villain, savior. A Jedi who left Coruscant to defeat Mandalorians - and returned a disciple of the dark side, bent on destroying the Republic. The Jedi Council gave Revan his life back, but his memories have been erased. All that’s left are nightmares - and deep, abiding fear. What exactly happened beyond the Outer Rim? Revan can’t quite remember, yet can’t entirely forget.

Where does Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is by far one of my favorite audio books. I love the sounds effects that all Star Wars audio books incorporate into the story telling. You can hear the lightsabers turning on, droids beeping/whistling, etc...

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan?

Discovering who Revan was married to.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When they tied together both of the KOTOR video games into the story.

    Any additional comments?

If you loved the KOTOR video games, then this is what we have been waiting for.... closure WRT Revan's and the Exile's stories.

Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end. No more puzzles. No more variables. And no more running. Thomas was sure that escape meant he and the Gladers would get their lives back. But no one really knew what sort of life they were going back to. In the Maze, life was easy... until Teresa triggered the end. In the world outside the Maze, however, the end was triggered long ago. Burned by sun flares and baked by a new, brutal climate, the earth is a wasteland....

    Story

I watched the movie and was drawn into getting the sequel before it too came out in the theater. Unfortunately, this sequel leaves you hanging. It really died during the third act. This story started out very well. It was interesting and you felt that you were in the story because you were finding out new things as they occurred to the protagonist. However, I think that we deserve to know what the eff wicked is by now and yet we're no closer to understanding what's going on than we were at the end of the first book and i find that very irritating.

  • Counterattack: The Corps Series, Book 3

"From the devastating surprise attack on Pearl Harbor to America’s first bold counterstrike against the Japanese on the beaches of Guadalcanal, this compelling story takes you to the front lines of victory and defeat - and into the very heart of courage, loyalty, and valor. It is a heroic story of pride and passion you will never forget.... Griffin’s books are distinguished by their high action and suspense, his dashing irreverence toward high command, and his clear picture of war and its wartime leaders.” (The Florida Times-Union)

    Story

I love the corps series. Although this story had very little action, it was filled with lots of bravado "
marineisms" and somewhat accurate history. Either way I believe that dick Hill's performance made it much easier to listen to. He is an amazing performer and is able to do lots of different voices which assist with keeping track of who is who. The previous two books had more action however this one is really setting up the fourth book very well. If you like the previous two books I believe you will enjoy this one as well.
