This is a book I will go back to time and time again. It makes me happy to both read and now hear it.
He brings an additional layer of dry wit to the already clever writing of Sir Pratchett.
Oh my goodness. This performance is all of the things that this play deserves. The recording quality is top-notch and the interpretation of the absurd wit is excellent.
The plot contains all the usual Victorian tropes: Instant love, mistaken identity, misunderstandings, and a misplaced handbag.
I will be listening to this one again and again, whenever I need a break from the unfunny absurdity of life.
Luke Daniels just keeps getting better and better. He's an AMAZING narrator and totally brings these books to life for me. This is the only series where I make a point of buying both the text and audio versions of the book and Luke Daniels is the reason.
