John Lutz has the best twists in his books. I am really enjoying this series. I never want to get out my car and Scott, as always does a marvelous job with narrating. John is moving up the list of my favorite authors, Gillian Flynn and John Grisham. I'm looking forward to finishing this series an reading some of his other work.
I don't know what else to say. Pastor Joel gets me through all of my tough times and inspires me to do better and keep getting up. This book gave me hope and increased my confidence to step into my new position and meet the challenge head on.
I loved the twist at the end! I had no idea that was the killer...good drama, characters and twist. And Scott Brick makes all the characters come alive. He is my absolute favorite narrator. Will definitely finish this series!
I lost 2-4 lbs each week. I will continue this method not only for the weight lose but for all the Heath benefits.
I must say this book was the hardest book I've listened to since joining audible. It was all over the place and I didn't like the narrator. It took way to long to get to the meat of the plot. I skipped (fell asleep) on several parts towards the end. I still don't know who killed the girl. I think I may ask for my credit back.
I would to give me a push to go for it....what ever it may be.
I liked that I related to a lot of what she went through as she moved up in her career. It made me feel like I "wasn't the only one" that believed I was a fraud.... You have to read the book to understand that statement.
Yes, it keeps you guessing. Just when you think you've figured out Nik or Aimee something happens to change your need. I couldn't wait to get in my car to go to and from work listening to Aimee and Nik's story.
Ohh, good question. Ok, so my favorite character was Aimee. She was very clever, patient and methodical in her plan(s) of action. She was the story. She's the reason I continued to read. I couldn't wait to see what was next on her list.
It was as though Joel was talking just to me. I love when authors read their own material.
His emphasis on particular parts of the book that are unique to him experiencing it...the emotions good or bad.
