Stephen Leeds, AKA 'Legion,' is a man whose unique mental condition allows him to generate a multitude of personae: hallucinatory entities with a wide variety of personal characteristics and a vast array of highly specialized skills. As the story begins, Leeds and his 'aspects' are drawn into the search for the missing Balubal Razon, inventor of a camera whose astonishing properties could alter our understanding of human history and change the very structure of society.

Wow! I am very impressed with this work. This is a great concept for a character. I sincerely hope this is a launching platform for more installments. Oliver Wyman give a superb performance as expected.

Stealth. Gorgon. Regenerator. Cerberus. Zzzap. The Mighty Dragon. They were heroes. Vigilantes. Crusaders for justice, using their superhuman abilites to make Los Angeles a better place. Then the plague of living death spread around the globe. Despite the best efforts of the superheroes, the police, and the military, the hungry corpses rose up and overwhelmed the country. The population was decimated, heroes fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland like so many others.

Where does Ex-Heroes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Ex-Heroes is in the top 15% of the audiobooks I have listened to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

St George emulates the save the world superhero persona very well. It's fun to listen to him play against the "this is the real world" characters as a moral icon.

What does Jay Snyder and Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When I first began listening to this I was concerned having two narrators would be confusing, but the voices brought the characters out more vividly.

    Any additional comments?

Great introduction to a possible series.

Great listen. Butcher's entire series gets better with each installment. Small Favor is no exception. Marster's performance is superlative.

What a great story. This has to be one of the most fulfilling books I've listened to recently. It left me satisfied with the ending and yet ready to jump right into the next book. James Marsters is a fantastic narrator.
