Fun continuation of an adorable series with a twist on Vampires. I have always loved a good vampire tale, but one with a twist on the basic mythology is always a treat and this series has been an entertaining treat.

Tatijana of the Dragonseekers spent centuries encased in ice with her sister, trapped in limbo between life and death, never speaking to a soul other than those who tormented her. Now, she has been freed from her frozen prison by an unknown descendent. Awakened in human form, Tatijana yearns to explore the modern world in which she now lives - a world with more mysteries than she is prepared for. Fenris Dalka has returned to the Carpathian Mountains after a long absence to be with his brother. He is scarred by centuries of battle, and every hard-won victory.

Would you try another book from Christine Feehan and/or Robert Sarkus?

Robert Sarkus - not a chance, after 23 books with good to great narration then this disappointment. The other 23 books I have listened to numerous times, This one could could not finish. Bring back Phil Giganti and Natalie Ross PLEASE!!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Robert Sarkus?

    Just about anyone but Sarkus

    Any additional comments?

The story is wonderful and in the tradition of the Dark series. We have a new focus and threat to the Carpathians and characters that we have only seen glimpses of in the past finally getting page time. With this book being billed as trilogy within the series I expected a cliffhanger and pleased at the break point. I am eagerly awaiting the next book release, desperately hoping the change narrator.
