Prophets from the Hebrew scriptures can seem distant from our modern day life, but Francine Rivers breathes life into ancient texts and Fabry does a decent job of narrating. The book starts slower than I prefer but grows to a faster pace. Sometimes a little repetitious which made me feel as if author thought I wouldn't get the connections. Through this book I did come to appreciate the prophet Amos
Captivating characters and intriguing plot are further enhanced by two talented audio readers, Bianca Amato and Jill Tanner. Definitely worth a second an third listen.
