Some mistakes can change your life forever. For Matt Hunter, that mistake came in one terrible moment when his attempt to help a friend and stop a fight resulted in an accidental death. Matt was convicted of manslaughter and sent to prison. Time that his peers spent in college, Matt endured behind bars.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Innocent to be better than the print version?

    Yes. Thanks to Scott Brick.

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

When I search for audio book, I usually look for books read by Scott Brick, Dick Hill or James Daniels.
Scott Brick would keep you on the edge of your seat narrating the phone book.

In a bold novel, Harlan Coben (Tell No One) continues to stake out new ground in suspense, unleashing a haunting tale of secrets and betrayal...and of one man's search for his missing brother that spirals into a breakneck hunt for a killer, a victim, and the truth.

"The worst narrator in the business."

What disappointed you about Gone for Good?

Mr Marosz is by far the worst narrator I have listened to. I wish I had recognized his name before I paid my hard earned money for this book. I have discarded more than one book due to Mr Marosz atrocious readings. His inflection, tone, pauses, accent on words and cadence make his readings difficult to follow and destroys whatever story he reads.
I am amazed an author or publisher would pay this guy. HORRIBLE!!!!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jonathan Marosz?

There are several wonderful narrators out there. By far the best are Scott Brick and Dick Hill.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger. Due to the extremely poor narration.

    Any additional comments?

Please Mr Coben reissue this book with a competent narrator.
