Nothing...I take the blame for choosing a topic not suited to me.
I just don't think it was a good match.
It comes across too cute...too contrived.
Zig Ziglar is from a previous generation but everything he talks about it still relevant.
The analogies and stories. They are always a connection point for me.
Yes, and they are all excellent.
Ziglar books are ok, but the audio is where Zig shines. His delivery, his sense of humor, his politeness, and his respect for people really comes across.
This question does not really apply. However I would point out that the narrative was a little tough to listen to for long periods. It's 24 lectures and the narrative starts sounding like William Shatner is delivering it. The pauses and drawn out words were tough to take.
Overall good lectures. Very comprehensive. I think the delivery was the downside for me.
Health, Diet, and Exercise advice is out there in abundance. Knowing what is believable or not is always tough. Dr. Goodman's lecture was clear, to the point, and makes perfect sense.
Very comprehensive and practical.
Easy to listen to, it's a long lecture, but never got old.
"Eat mostly plants, and not too much" is a great quote he used in the lecture.
If you step back from this subject in general, it's all about common sense and moderation. Eat wholesome, exercise more, get plenty of rest. But the how's and why's are clearly presented with common sense approach to achieving all of this. Everything from prostate exam options to menopause and children's health or allergies. Loved it!
No, just not my area of interest
nothing, the book was fine, just not my area
This is a fine book/story for the right audience. But it really applies more to people who are trying to raise themselves up and get their core life together. Unfortunately I did not get this from the reviews and synopsis before purchasing. Great story, just not really what I was looking for in a audio book.
