What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There was too much going on in the story I kept getting confused with what was going on. I was expecting it to be a good book based on the reviews I read about it, but instead I was very disappointed.

What could Kresley Cole have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

A better storyline would have made this a better story. Such a let down.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Not really

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    None at all.

Trouble just walked into Nicholas Rixey's tattoo parlor. Becca Merritt is warm, sexy, wholesome, pure temptation to a very jaded Nick. He's left his military life behind to become co-owner of Hard Ink Tattoo, but Becca is his ex-commander's daughter. Loyalty won't let him turn her away. Lust has plenty to do with it too. With her brother presumed kidnapped, Becca needs Nick. She just wasn't expecting to want him so much.

What disappointed you about Hard As It Gets?

It just didn't draw me in like I expected it to based on the reviews. Disappointed.

Would you ever listen to anything by Laura Kaye again?

Yes. I believe in giving every author a second chance, so I will read the next book in the installment of "A Hard Ink" to see if it gets better.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It seemed at times the tone of voice was so monotone and boring it was hard to pay attention to.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The love scenes were good but could have been so much more steamier.

    Any additional comments?

Nick should've opened up more in the story.

Would you listen to A Beautiful Idea again? Why?

Yes I would listen to "A Beautiful Idea" again. It was a nice change to actually read about two people falling in love and staying together. No games and backstabbing like many other love stories.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Ryder, you could tell that he really loved Isabelle with all his heart and soul.

What does Viv Williams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes Viv. Williams was a great reader, I especially loved the voice of Ryder...it made him seem so much more sexier.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I would've loved to listen to the book in one sitting but between all the family interruptions it was impossible to do so.

    Any additional comments?

This was a nice change of love story to read, no backstabbing or going from one person to another and the two people that were in love actually told each other how they felt. You didn't have to guess when there was going to be a fight or if one person was going to go out with someone else. It's nice to read how the love story begins and ends and you get to hear all about the smexy romantics love scenes the two lovers have. Kudos to Emily McKee I can't wait to read the next book "A beautiful Mess". I hope it's just as good.

I loved the chemistry between Tate and Lauren. And Jonas was hilarious too for only being 10 years old, he had some really funny come backs.

Which character – as performed by Emma Taylor – was your favorite?

I loved the rough, sexy voice of Tate.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Nova Reed used to have dreams - of becoming a famous drummer, of marrying her true love. But all of that was taken away in an instant. Now she's getting by as best she can, though sometimes that means doing things the old Nova would never do. Things that are slowly eating away at her spirit. Every day blends into the next...until she meets Quinton Carter. His intense, honey brown eyes instantly draw her in, and he looks just about as broken as she feels inside.

What disappointed you about Breaking Nova?

I was disappointed that Nova and Christen didn't make the connection together in the lake. There was such a work-up on the chemistry between the two and then the ending was very disappointing.

What do you think your next listen will be?

A love story with a happy ending and a great connection between the couples in the story.

What three words best describe Stephanie Willis and Jed Drummond ’s voice?

    Expressive, Smooth, Moderate

What character would you cut from Breaking Nova?

I would've cut Tristan from the book. He really had no purpose in the story. The book kept talking about how much he had a crush on Nova but you sure couldn't tell they by the way the story was written.

    Any additional comments?

There was so many good reviews about this book which is the reason why I choose this book based on the reviews. This book was the MOST depressing book that I have purchased from Audible and I very disappointed by the story and the outcome.

Eliza really gets to meet Gage Grendel - her former crush from high school and the lead singer of FireNine - and witness sides to him to which she'll begin to truly despise. She'll ignore him, she'll dislike his ways, she'll do anything to try and stay away from him until Gage finally gets her to slip up and give in.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes this was a book worth listening it but very disappointed that it dragged on so long before Gage and Liza hooked up. Plus they should've let the end up together in the end. Because of this I doubt that I will read the next book in this series.

If you’ve listened to books by S. Q. Williams before, how does this one compare?

Not listened to another. Books by sq Williams.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Very Mundane narrator, not enough soul or spice in the reading. It makes the book drag and it doesn't pull you in like other romance stories do.

Was Who He Is worth the listening time?

Yes this was a book worth listening it but very disappointed that it dragged on so long before Gage and Liza hooked up. Plus they should've let the end up together in the end. Because of this I doubt that I will read the next book in this series.

Would you consider the audio edition of Some Like It Wild to be better than the print version?

The audio edition of this book was great. I love the humor that was part of this love story. I forget about writing reviews and then it's too late and I can never remember the story to write a good, honest review but this time I feel this story deserved a review before I moved onto my next book. I have not read the print edition.

What other book might you compare Some Like It Wild to and why?

Every book that I have read from M. Leighton has been right up my alley. I know when I buy one of Leighton's book it's going to be good, so I never hesitate to get one of his books as soon as they come out. This book was more than worth the money I paid. I cannot wait to purchase my next book written from Leighton. It's hard to compare this book to others because I am not good at that.

What does Amy McFadden and Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amy McFadden puts just the right emphasis in the story at the times it's needed the most, pulling you into the story so much you feel like you are right there. And I love the voice of Nick Podehl, he has that sexy, southern voice that makes you want to eat him right up.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Wild influence on innocent fun loving prey.

    Any additional comments?

I love the books, so I hope they keep coming from M. Leighton. I also love the fact that the books are at a reasonable price too. It seems that I have spent twice the money on other books and they aren't even half as good as Leighton's book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There needed to be more meat to the story. The story seemed to drag out too long and it was very boring. It definetly needed a better narrator, that's what made it such a drag to finish the book.

What was most disappointing about Colleen Hoover’s story?

It was disappointing that the story didn't go into more of the love-story between Ridge and Sydney.

How could the performance have been better?

It could have been better if there was more story to it than there was.

    Any additional comments?

This was a waste of credit for me and I hope this isn's a sign that the next-future books are as boring as this one was. I love to read more about the love affair and intamacy that two people have and this book just didn't have it for me.

With no running water or electricity in their home and no parents around to protect them, they quickly learned how to survive and depend only on each other. What did you love best about Broken?

I loved the romance that Whitley and Layton had between each other. Once they got together the enduring love Layton had and showed for Whitley was so precious. I am glad I used my monthly credit for this book. I had been holding off because of the price but it was well worth the wait and credit.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Broken?

The most memorable moment was the first shower scene when Layton was so loving and caressing to Whitley. He took his time and showed her how much he really cared and loved her body.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The best scene was when Whitley showed Olivia up and surprised her when she really knew how to ride a horse and Olivia didn't think she could and was trying to make her look bad in front of Layton. I could not stand Olivia I was hoping something would've happened to Olivia in the story to her.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    City Girl meets County Honky-Tonk

    Any additional comments?

It has been a long time since I have read such a great love story as this was. The love between Layton and Whitley was so strong you could feel it throughout the whole story. I cannot wait to get another book written by Kelly Elliott. I would highly recommend this book if you love to read rooms to love stories. I hope the second book of this series comes out soon.

Where does Reason to Breathe rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

4.75. I was addicted to this book, so much that I would stay up late to see what was going to happen next. I loved the love story of Emma & Evan. There is so much love from Evan for Emma that makes you wonder if there really is a person like him out there. It really pulls you in to hear all the pain and misery that Emma had to got thru from her Aunt Carol. I just wish she would've opened up more to Evan.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Evan was my favorite character in this story. The love he has for Emma is so precious and amazing. He is so sweet to her and is always wanting to protect her from everything.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

Kate Rudd did an awesome job narrating the story. She did such a good job switching from one characters voice to another.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several parts in the story that moved me...it's hard to narrow it down to just one.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great story and will have you hanging on until the end. You have to read this book if you want to experience a real live story. I recommend it to everyone.

I cannot wait until the next book, I am sure it will be hard to put down just like this book.
