SWFG: Single, White, Female, Geek. "That's me, Lexi Carmichael, a reformed hacker who was gainfully employed by the National Security Agency. But a series of extraordinary events led me to leave government life behind for a fresh start with a brand-new company and an incredibly sexy boss, Finn Shaughnessy. It may not be kosher to have the hots for your boss, but he seems to have the hots for me, too. If only things didn't get so complicated...."

I usually wouldn't write a review for a book like this. It was entertaining enough, but left me feeling somehow cheated, even though I purchased it on a $4.95 sale. I was thinking about other readers who seemed to love or hate this book, and it occurred to me what may be the reason. I believe this book is meant to be a series (It look like it is actually #2 although Audible hasn't yet made that connection). It gives you a tiny adventure/glance into the main character's life, and leaves you waiting for the next book. Usually I'm all about a series, but I didn't feel like there was enough meat in this one to have me coming back for more. It could very easily be a show on network television (Castle, Bones, NCIS....). However, it is only one episode. I guess I, personally, would rather watch an episode of something moderately amusing for free than waste a credit or $ on something similar from audible.
