What did you love best about Bosch Behind-the-Scenes Podcast: The Authenticity?

The real life Detectives and what Bosch means to them but what they had to say that makes Harry Bosch even more real from all that they would add on set.

I enjoyed them all from the ex producer to the editor and how long there days really are to the Real life Detectives who i found fascinating

Have you listened to any of Tom Bernardo and full cast ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and they are all wonderful

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

simple its already done and made "Bosch"

    Any additional comments?

Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.

Would you listen to Water for Elephants again? Why?

I have as I have already listened to it and read it before it was made into the movie. It takes you back in time to the 1930's. Using a Circus and the circus train as the back drop to these great characters was done brilliantly

What did you like best about this story?

The way it is told from an older man who lived through these events you relive his life through his eyes.

What does David LeDoux and John Randolph Jones bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They were both very enjoyable and gave life to the words on the page

If you could take any character from Water for Elephants out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Marlena for many reasons from how she joined the circus to what it was like to care for Rosie to many other questions of course. I do wish Marlena was written better when they made the movie, The great Reese Witherspoon did as always a great job but the whole movie was so weak compared to the book. I really wished the writers would have taken more care to really give that great cast in the movie a chance to have turned this story into one of the greatest movies.

    Any additional comments?

if you saw the movie, please read or listen to the book it's so much stronger. If you read the book or listened to it still watch the movie some great actors give solid roles. But this story will take you back into the hard times of America life all through a circus and a train.

In Jesus on Trial, New York Times bestselling author David Limbaugh applies his lifetime of legal experience to a unique new undertaking: making a case for the gospels as hard evidence of the life and work of Jesus Christ. Limbaugh, a practicing attorney and former professor of law, approaches the canonical gospels with the same level of scrutiny he would apply to any legal document and asks all the necessary questions about the story of Jesus....

In the LAPD's Open-Unsolved Unit, not many murder victims die almost a decade after the crime. So when a man succumbs to complications from being shot by a stray bullet nine years earlier, Bosch catches a case in which the body is still fresh, but all other evidence is virtually nonexistent. Now Bosch and rookie Detective Lucia Soto, are tasked with solving what turns out to be a highly charged, politically sensitive case.

    Story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, This Bosch Mystery the Burning room is right up there with the classic Bosch stories. Harry is running out of time to be forced into leaving the LAPD and he is teamed with a great new fresh rookie female partner with an active case that ties to his partners past.

What did you like best about this story?

Harry being Harry and helping out his new partner Detective Lucia Soto in so many ways. The thought process Micheal brings to his characters and to Harry is just a masterpiece.

Which character – as performed by Titus Welliver – was your favorite?

Titus is now Bosch and You can tell how wonderful and gifted this man is. You can see Titus as Harry Bosch on Amazon in Bosch the series. Titus gave so much life to his story telling and he did a wonderful job with all the characters. I could not stop listening to how he read this spectacular Bosch mystery. You felt like Titus was really Bosch.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just made me want more and more it was that good. I wasn't a fan of the last Bosch book the black box but The Burning room is right up there with the best Bosch books of all time from the master of his craft Micheal Connelly.

    Any additional comments?

Bosch and Soto working two cases, a veteran LAPD with about a year left and a fresh young female rookie Detective and how one case becomes two and how it is linked to the new Detectives past. Soto and Bosch have more in common then one would think.

From Killing Lincoln which is an amazing work, to Killing Kennedy which again is truly amazing work. Killing Jesus can touch your soul all of these are great works must reads, must listens for sure. This series isn't just about the person it's about the Time that person lived and the people around them and alive at the time. In Killing Patton you will hear about Hitler, Stalin, Churchill, Eisenhower and amazing hero's from a PFC to the many men that gave there freedom so we all have ours. Truly amazing stories inside this story

What made the experience of listening to Tom Clancy Support and Defend the most enjoyable?

The way Mark Greaney told this story buy taking a Character like Dominic Caruso and expanding on what he has been changing into then adding more characters to help fill the story just like Tom would do

What did you like best about this story?

The way the ending shaped up, it was such a heart pounding thrill ride

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Scott was very good, I liked Lou Diamond from the last few better, but Scott has done a few earlier Clancy Novels and thus he is very good at what he does and he did bring some characters to life

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

You laughed in parts with the wit of Dom and Adara Sherman. The book was driven like a thriller should be. Well thought out and full of great characters.

    Any additional comments?

This will set up for the next Campus novel and the whole team. I can't wait for that one. This book the first where Mark Greaney was solo and he hit it out of the park into the street. I loved the ending, I loved the building the story up and I loved seeing a fun character like Dominic Caruso grow and his value to the Campus just grew even deeper. Adara Sherman having a bigger part was very nice too almost wished we could have a novel with her she seems like she can take care of herself very well too.
